load items AFTER bib records load

Hello all I would like to know if it's possible to load items after a load of bib records. I know that I can load an item at the same time, adding the 952 tag... But can it be done later? if yes, what is the information needed into the item to be linked with the bib record? Thanks a lot

All in one search

Hello all. We have about 12 libraries running KOHA under one single installation but multiple databases. Is it possible to search in all the databases through any one of the interfaces? I mean to say that, when I make a search then it should look in all the databases and return the result under each library name category in a page. I guess that is not possible in the default koha installation, but I'd like to ask if there is someway how it can be achieved. As far as I know, it can be only done by manually adding different branches and then adding records under each branch by bulkmarc import. But still may be there is another way that is easier and more convinient. Please reply. Version 3.2 Is this a "stable" or a "test" release

All: My automation staff has inquired whether or not Koha version 3.2 is a "stable" or "test" release. Could someone elighten us on the matter? Koha Harley - no items available

Hello; I installed Koha Harley on a new machine (latest Debian) everything nice. Backed up my old mysql from Koha 3.0, and restored on new machine. Everything looks great in the intranet, nothing in the OPAC when searching. On intranet side, I do a search and then limit to available items and nothing shows there, most likely why OPAC doesn't show. Cannot edit items either, probably because they aren't available. What am I missing? The onloan, damaged, etc... fields all have 0 in them. I may try re-indexing my zebra. I have rebuilt zebra with rebuild_zebra.pl a few times and no joy. I am: Paul Davis Network Administrator StarTouch Broadband Services and helper-outer with my local private school library (was Technology Director there for 20 years) Thank you in advance - I am hoping it is a simple fix. :-)

Cross Library circulation

Hi all, I have two libraries in my koha installation say UG and PG. Student belongs to UG library should not be allowed to be checkout books from PG library and Vice versa. But Seems to allow this operation by default. I tried various combination of System Preferences IndependantBranches, HomeOrHoldingBranch, etc. Nothing seems to work please guide me to right configuration. Terry, Please reply to all when replying. It is my understanding that this feature hasn't changed from 3.0 to 3.2. Nicole: We have multiple receipts, but it seems to require the same number. Are you able to have different invoice numbers? Second, when you receive items in a basket you enter an invoice number. So you can have only one invoice number per receipt, but multiple invoices per basket.
