Hello,I just subscribed again to the Koha List. My name is Verónica Lencinas and I had been a subscriber a lot of years ago. I unsubscribed because I got too much mail in general and I was more active in the koha-es list. Koha is now again an important part of my professional life since I give support to fellow librarians in Koha and also offer support services in Argentina through my company Puntobiblio. Maybe someone remembers me from the 2014 KohaCon.As you surely know, in Argentina we are almost always in the middle of an economical crisis (with some notable exceptions), and as a government employee (I work at the National University of Cordoba) with meager retributions, second and third jobs are the norm. So, who am I, and what do I do for a living? I am a librarian, just a few months from retiring from my main job as a librarian at the astronomical observatory in Córdoba. I also work as a library science instructor at the Córdoba University, teaching cataloging (and the Koha cataloging module by the way), and actually I have also the responsibility for our library school as their director. In my spare time (insert laughing emoji here) I work as an executive director at Puntobiblio, offering technology-related services for libraries and archives. My biggest job was implementing Digibepé (that was Koha by another name), for the National Commission for Popular Libraries (Conabip) from 2009 to 2015. There we installed, migrated data and trained librarians of about 700 popular libraries in Argentina. At Puntobiblio we have about 80 libraries (school libraries, public and popular libraries, academic and specialized libraries, library networks, etc.) that trust us with their data, their questions, and their workflows. With this work I have discovered that offering technical support for my fellow librarians is a wonderful and fulfilling task where I also learn a lot.So in a few weeks I will have much more time for Koha and Puntobiblio. Where are SMTP errors logged?

I defined an SMTP server for one of my koha libraries, but it is failing to send messages. Another library (on the same server) is working OK with the same SMTP server settings, as far as I can see. I have set the Debug mode to "enabled" on the SMTP server settings. Can you tell me where the debug output goes? We are using koha 22.11 Thanks! Chris Brown

searching problem

Dear David, List, In our database on (2 koha servers) we have 268 bibliographic records! With the versions 25.05.05 and lower search by item type (in this database we have 3 item types - journals, newspapers, yearbooks) is working in the perfect way. All records are being retrieved in the normal way, indexes are produced again in the correct way. With the version 25.05.06 (didn't have a connection with 653) we are experiencing a problem. Searching by all 3 item types, or searching by the "journals + newspapers" is failed! The message is "No results found! You did not specify any search criteria. Return to the last advanced search Error: Can't call method "raw" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 785" But when we are searching only by journals, or only by newspapers, or only by yearbooks, or (newspapers + yearbooks) or (journals + yearbooks) the result is OK. More, all searches by the fields which try to go through the whole database (lets say by the content of the filed 003) are being failed with the above mentioned error code. Because of that we are thinking that this is a version bug! Number of bibliographic entries for journals is = 137 Number of bibliographic entries for newspapers is = 128 Number of bibliographic entries for yearbooks is = 3 Thanks in advance

A question about disabling email

Gentle Reader, If I disable email on my koha instance, (using koha-email-disable), does it just stop the message queue from being processed, or does it also stop the system from placing "overdue" notices into the queue? We're running Koha 22.11 Thanks in advance for any replies. Chris Brown

Dear List, Anke Thanks for help. of course we rebuild zebra index. when we searched by "Item type" in Advanced search and chose all (we have 3: periodical, newspaper & yearbook it brought such error: ---- "No results found! You did not specify any search criteria. Return to the last advanced search Error: Can't call method "raw" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Search.pm line 785" --- BUT when we chose 2 of them or 1 all is ok Any suggestions?
