Hello! How can I hide an record in OPAC? But this record should be available to the librarian. In the previous ILS, it was possible to put "d" (excluded) in the 05 position of leader UNIMARC. Older Koha manuals

Hello, Please be advised that starting this cycle, the manuals for unsupported Koha versions are no longer online. Note: the oldest supported Koha version is currently 22.11 Rosalie. The official Koha documentation page at https://koha-community.org/documentation has been updated to reflect this. **Don't panic! Documentation is still available** If you are still using an unsupported Koha version, you can still access the Koha manual using the "Help" link in the top right of your staff interface. Despite the URL containing your Koha version number, you will actually land on the "one manual" - the latest and only version of the manual from Koha 23.11 onwards. The latest manual is likely to hold the information you need. Older manual versions may also be viewed using Internet Archives, though they are unlikely to be complete. **Download what you need by September** If you want to keep a copy of an older Koha manual, you can download the tarballs from the following repository: https://link.infini.fr/koha-manual-archives You need to do this by 25th September 2024. After this date, the files will be removed from this archive as well. Hello everyone, There has been a conversation on the ByWater Partners mailing list about Z39.50 servers, so I thought I'd put out a reminder that there is a page on the Koha Wiki at https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_Open_Z39.50_Sources that allows you to share your library's Z39.50 information. I actually just cleaned up this page yesterday and removed several non-working Z39.50 targets, so now would be a great time to share your information if you haven't already. If you don't have a Wiki account or if you need help, please ask and I'd be happy to help you get instructions on how to sign up for a Wiki account and to help you add your library's information to the Wiki. But please note that this is only a place to share your own Z39.50 information. You shouldn't share another library's Z39.50 information - only your own. Hello, we would like to invite you to the first German-speaking Koha-DACH-Hackfest in Karlsruhe. Location: Library of the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) Straße am Forum 2 76131 Karlsruhe Germany Itinerary: Monday, 4th November start at 13:00 PM (arrival before noon) Tuesday, 5th November all day Wednesday, 6th November until 13:00 PM (departure in the afternoon) Target group: Anyone who has previous experience working with Koha either in a professional or in a private capacity and who wants to get on board for further development of Koha or wants to help out in the Koha Community. Knowledge of how to use Koha is a prerequisite. Workshops and community exchange are the main focus of the event. It is not meant as a training session. Please note that our planned workshops will be held in German only!
