Hello, Please be advised that starting this cycle, the manuals for unsupported Koha versions are no longer online. Note: the oldest supported Koha version is currently 22.11 Rosalie. The official Koha documentation page at https://koha-community.org/documentation has been updated to reflect this. **Don't panic! Documentation is still available** If you are still using an unsupported Koha version, you can still access the Koha manual using the "Help" link in the top right of your staff interface. Despite the URL containing your Koha version number, you will actually land on the "one manual" - the latest and only version of the manual from Koha 23.11 onwards. The latest manual is likely to hold the information you need. Older manual versions may also be viewed using Internet Archives, though they are unlikely to be complete. **Download what you need by September** If you want to keep a copy of an older Koha manual, you can download the tarballs from the following repository: https://link.infini.fr/koha-manual-archives You need to do this by 25th September 2024. After this date, the files will be removed from this archive as well. Hi Aude I don't really understand the decision to permanently remove "older manuals" since many libraries are using older versions than Koha 22.11. Not every library has the time, the need or the financial means to always update to the most current version (which often is a bad move anyway). Also it is not clear to me if, when and how "older manuals " will be removed in the future. However, I tried to access https://link.infini.fr/koha-manual-archives but it shows the error: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR Can you please tell me where to actually find and download the older manuals? Then, when I have downloaded them I would make them available through my own website (since the completeness through the Internet Archive is not guaranteed). Do you think there is something to be said against that? Best wishes: Michael -- Geschäftsführer · Diplombibliothekar BBS, Informatiker eidg. Hi all, I also have trouble with the download. I get to the page, but have an error when trying to download. But I am also in support of removing the manuals of versions that are no longer maintained. Those versions do not get any security fixes and an update is strongly recommended. The removal of the manuals supports that. Noone needs to update to the latest or just released version, just staying on a supported version is enough. And if the LTS is used, there is plenty of time to plan for an update every few years.
