Greetings, I'm having trouble getting the Google login to work since upgrading/rebuilding Koha (we rebuilt the VPS and followed the install guide: https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Debian) *The problem:* 1) I can log in through my local account, no problem. 2) I then try to login through my Google account 3) After pressing allow from the accounts.google.com site, a message is displayed: /Sorry, your Google login failed. .../ The full message is below. "Log in to your account Google login Sorry, your Google login failed. The email address you are trying to use is not associated with a borrower at this library. Please note that the Google login will only work if you are using the e-mail address registered with this library. If you want to, you can try to log in using a different account Log in with Google If you do not have a Google account, but do have a local account, you can still log in:" There are no errors in the Apache log files. *Configuration* Since we had troubles, I'm following the testing guide to configure the OAuth login: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10988#c68 I removed the Google OAuth entries: DELETE FROM systempreferences WHERE variable LIKE 'GoogleO%'; I then ran the upgrade schema tool, as I did when I imported the db: sudo koha-upgrade-schema keiin_lib I added values back in admin panel (Home › Administration › System preferences > Google OpenID Connect I confirmed the 4 values are displayed in the MySQL DB: SELECT * FROM systempreferences WHERE variable LIKE 'GoogleO%'; Any thoughts? Koha on Debian 10

Hi, Thanks for the replies, it seems that I need to be running Debian 9 ( Stretch) not version 10 (Buster) but there is someone called: mtj on IRC who is working on Debian 10. There doesn't seem to be a downgrade option in Debian so reinstalling the whole operating system is pretty awkward. I hope (MTJ) includes Debian 10 support soon. Best Regards, Aindriú

Help with shelf browser and classification source

Good morning, (I tried to send this email before, but I think something went wrong. If it did send, apologies for the duplicate.) I am responsible for a small private library and we have recently installed Koha (20.05.04.000, using UNIMARC and UDC). I am having some issues with the shelf browser and the classification source. The shelf browser does not appear. When clicking on the link, only a link to "close the shelf browser" does. I have just finished assigning shelving locations (995$e) to all items (due to previously having periodicals show alongside books), and for this purpose I have created 3 locations: geral (general), referência (reference), periódicos (periodicals). Before assigning the locations, the shelf browser would sometimes appear; now it never does (only the link to close it, as mentioned above). What could be the problem? I’m not sure if this is relevant and could be impacting the shelf browser, but our search doesn’t work -- it always shows no results (our IT team is working on it). A second issue (that might be related) is that although I am trying to work with UDC, I think Koha is still defaulting to Dewey. I have only found out about the setting DefaultClassificationSource a few days ago, and it is set as Dewey (I didn’t change it because I would rather change everything, including all 1000+ items, at once). On the administration menu > classification sources, I only have UDC as ‘in use’. What do I need to do to make sure all of Koha is using UDC? I am very new to Koha, so any help is appreciated! Zebra required if using Elasticsearch?

Good afternoon, I think the answer to the question in my subject is, "yes", but I'd like to check my understanding. After installing Koha in a VM and reviewing various documentation, my understanding was that using Zebra or Elasticsearch was an either/or choice, you use one or the other. However, the Elasticsearch entry on the wiki<https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Elasticsearch> suggests that eliminating Zebra dependency in favor of going full Elasticsearch is a work in progress. Is this accurate? I'm asking because I'm anticipate trouble getting access to download RHEL packages for Zebra<https://www.indexdata.com/resources/software/zebra/>. I was hoping we could entirely avoid it and just use Elasticsearch. Thanks for your time!! Tasha R. Bales

Searchable list archive?

Good afternoon, in order that I can best help myself to answer questions, and avoid annoying others, I just want to ask if there is a searchable archive for this Koha list, or a way to accomplish the same. I find I just have to go month by month (at https://lists.katipo.co.nz/pipermail/koha/) and scan subjects to try to find information. Perhaps I've missed something.
