transfers to receive- checking in books

Hi, if this message looks familiar it's because I posted it originally back in 2013, but got no response. I am still having the same problem. An annoying thing is occurring when I check in an item in the circulation module. After I check in as usual, the status becomes "In transit from Cary Institute Library, to , since . " Then I have to go into Transfers to Receive and cancel the transfer for that item before it will display as available for loan in the OPAC record. Any tips or advice? I searched bugs and didn't find anything about this. We use Koha 3.18.06.000 (Linux ubuntu). Hope you can help. thanks! Amy Schuler schulera(a)caryinstitute.org

Hi all, Is this still the preferred method to reset the database ? http://manual.koha-community.org/3.18/en/resetkohadb.html I have a Koha server up and going the way I want it, now I just need to clean out the database, and import my real Mark records. Thanks, -S

Edit Serials subscription's numbering pattern in 3.20.2

Hi! Can somebody please try to edit their serial subscription in 3.20.2. I'm trying to edit numbering pattern, I have Koha's default seasonal changed to a numbering pattern other than seasonal, tested the prediction pattern, then lastly saved it. It seemed it is not saving and I am lead to "http://kohaipaddress:8080/cgi-bin/koha/serials/subscription-detail.pl?subsc…". And when I go back to the particular item, it's still the same. when i want to restore koha sql file using this command mysql -uroot -ppasswd databaseName <koha.sql give me this error ERROR 2013 (HY000) at line 267: Lost connection to MySQL server during query i doing this command to much time before but it appear since two weeks if any solve can tell me. 504 Gateway Time-out. Generating Data.

Dear Colleagues! I have a big data for like 400k items. I am experiencing error message which *"504 Gateway Time-out The server didn't respond in time." * when generation a bunch of data using SQL report module. We also tried optimizing our apace to lengthen the timeout and still it did not resolve the dilemma. On the other hand once we limit the report to lessen the data, it works well. Please advice... Error connecting to MySQL

Greetings all, I’m a new user of Koha, attempting to set it up for my wife’s class library. I’ve successfully installed it on an Ubuntu 14.04 server. I can log in to the “intra” staff section at lib-admin.domainname.com <http://lib-admin.domainname.com/> and everything there works correctly, but going to lib.domainname.com <http://lib.domainname.com/> gives me the error message “Error connecting to MySQL” without any further information. I’m sure it’s something quite simple that I’ve overlooked, but I can’t figure out what that might be. Are there some error logs I should be checking? Some obvious switch I haven’t flipped? Hi, Felipe: sorry for the delay. As an IT consultant of the American University of Rome (AUR), I managed to sync their Ebsco Discovery Service with Koha using OAI-PMH. It works once a day. However, for the Real Time Availability Check (RTAC) that involves 952 info, we use another method, exactly because it must be in "real time". Every time a Koha record is shown in the EDS interface, a script connects to a very simple API I wrote, and receives back an XML response with the loan status of the book. The script then appends the response under the record in the EDS page. This method was agreed with Ebsco IT staff. Let me know if you need more info.
