Hi, At Lyon 3 University, we sometimes organize Testing Days with other French Librarians. I think that it could be interesting to associate this event to a GBSD. Unfortunately, September 3d is in the middle of the start of the new university year and it will be difficult to plan a testing day at this moment. But for the next GBSD, I could try to make coordinate both. At least, for September 3d, I propose to communicate about it via the Koha french association to promote the GBSD. I have a simple tutorial in French about the use of sandbox and signing a patch : I can try to translate it (and it can be improve !) but there's already a wiki page : http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Sandboxes I hope it can help to make GBSD more successful ! receiving serials

Hi, I'm new to koha and am trying to get our serials set up correctly but am wondering if there is a combine issues. I have a magazine that has combine two weeks so it has two dates and two numbers and can't find a way to combine them. Thanks for the help.

Purchase suggestion management: staff interface

It seems that sometimes, when making a multiple suggestions for a patron, you get kicked out to the suggestion management page. If you make a suggestion from there, it links to the staff account, not the patron account. We've had several occurrences of staff making purchase suggestions for themselves instead of for the patron. Anyone else noticing this issue? -- Chad Roseburg Automation Dept. Slash (/) following title

Kia ora koutou, Is there a way to suppress/hide the trailing slash (/) following the title displaying in the OPAC? It arrives with the MARC record but looks 'wrong' when displayed. Clint.

Koha syck parser error

In koha 3.20.2 & 3.18.9 debian package install tested for both, when editing the admin.pref in order to add the lines for google authentication, I'm getting the following errors when I go to Administration - Global System Preference - Administration: Software error: Syck parser (line 117, column 15): syntax error at /usr/lib/perl5/YAML/Syck.pm line 72. I followed either attachment 40979 and for the most part attachment 40442. I was able to make this work in 3.20.1 and 3.18.8 a month ago following attachment 40442. Is there something I'm missing? Or is there a bug somewhere? YAML syck is 0.71 and is a debian 7 server. Inventory: Compare barcodes option

I'm trying to use the "Compare barcodes list to results" feature of inventory/stocktaking? We are preparing for our first inventory since switching to Koha, and from what I can understand this is the feature that tells you what books are misshelved. I have everything else working, and as long as I don't click that box it all goes great. However, when I click it I get the error message: Software error: Can't locate object method "ymd" via package "dateformat" (perhaps you forgot to load "dateformat"?) at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/DateUtils.pm line 206, <fh00001barcodetest2.txt> line 5. I'm not sure what this is or how to fix it. Any insight? Anyone else run into this problem? Thanks, Caitlin Kleinpaste

Issue in patron fine payment

Dear Team, I am not able to pay the patron fine from their respective credit balance. While doing so it shows a warning message. The steps I have followed is mentioned below 1. Selected the fine from '*Pay fine*' tab (Fine amount = 5 , Credit amount = -600 , Total due = -595) 2. Then I clicked '*Pay Selected*' option . 3. It shows Total outstanding amount = 5 , Collect from patron = 5 4. When I clicked '*Confirm*', It shows an error 'You must pay a value less than or equal to -595' .
