Hi, This is a public notification per the policy for paid support provider listings [1] that OrisysIndia has been removed from the directory. This action is taken because their website currently makes no mention of Koha nor includes a visible link to http://koha-community.org. I note that I have reason to believe that the link may have gotten inadvertently dropped during a recent redesign of their website. This message is also being sent to the contact address that was listed for this provider. The provider may request to have the listing restored once their website is in compliance with the linking requirement. Aggregate Fields into one field

I would like to know if it is possible to use values from different fields to populate another field in a biblio record. I know how to use populate the call number field of an item from the Dewey Decimal Classification field. What I would like to do is for my call number to consist of data from 3 different fields. Dewey number, Cutter number( I use a custom field for this one), and Copy number. For the call number field I've found that there is the "itemcallnumber" setting in the System Preferences where you add a field and subfield ( 676a ) and you can use that for the Item call number in the holdings data of an item. Hotkeys in the staff interface

I've been testing a version 3.20.01 package install on Debian 8 and I'm having problems with the hotkeys on the intranet interface. I'm used to Check out=U, Check in=R and Search the catalog=Q, but I'm getting Check out=R, Check in-Q and Search the catalog=U on circulation_home.pl. On mainpage.pl, I'm getting Check out=R, Search patrons-Q and Search the catalog=U. Has anyone else had this problem? I've tested on Linux Mint 17.1 with Firefox 39.0 and Chromium 43.0.2357.130 and Windows 8.1 with Firefox 39.0. -- Tim McMahon Technical Services West Liberty Public Library

z39.50: does it provide info for bibs with no items?

A vendor is using Z39.50 to check our holdings but does not see a bib record that appears in Koha. This record has no items attached. Does Z39.50 only show records with items attached, acq details ...etc.? -- Chad Roseburg Automation Dept. North Central Regional Library

Musical Instruments and Catalogs

Hi, Today is my first day using Koha. I want to build a catalog for my library which consist of musical instruments. I noticed that the catalog doesn't have an option for musical instruments and was wondering if anyone had any input on how to build a musical instrument catalog from scratch in Koha. More specifically, I want to add items like "Drum Set", "Keyboard" and "Guitar". Kohacon 2016 proposals & voting

Dear all, it was decided on the 5 August general IRC meeting that 1) bidding for Kohacon 2016 locations will end one week after the August 2015 general IRC meeting. If you want to host Kohacon 2016, add your proposal to the wiki[1] now and announce it on the general mailing list, so people know about it. No proposals will be accepted after 12 August 2015, 22 UTC.
