Re: [Koha] Koha Digest, Vol 130, Issue 3
by eugene jose espinoza 02 Aug '16

Hi all! We will attend the meeting tomorrow, 6PM local time. We will present and answer questions regarding our bid. For my part, I'm talking to another organization that was able to hold an international conference way back 2013 if they can help in making this happen (http://librarynewsette.lasalle.ph/2013/02/philippines-to-host-icoasl.html) If Greece last year's motto was something to the tune of Koha-ppen, well, for our part in the Philippines, "kokoha-nin namin 'to" which is translated in English as "We will get this!" from the root word "kuha" (replacing "o" with "u") meaning get. Cheers and have a nice day everyone! -eugene On Tuesday, August 2, 2016 10:48 PM, "koha-request(a)lists.katipo.co.nz" <koha-request(a)lists.katipo.co.nz> wrote: Send Koha mailing list submissions to koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz To subs 1. Little bit a side note: As I understand, this is some kind of unwritten rule in the community. Maybe we should write it down somewhere and relax it a little bit? KohaCon should preferably not be held on the same continent twice in a row (unless an alternative is not available). Or something similar ?? Marcel

Adventures upgrading Ubuntu
by Nombre 30 Jul '16

30 Jul '16

Hello all... I had Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with koha 16 installed as a local server to make tests and personal training. Today I've decided upgrade to Ubuntu 16 LTS, running update-manager, but update-manager decide by itself to uninstall koha-common, why?. O.K. is not an official package, but it's my package, please respect me and may koha.... I've copied /etc/koha, var/lib/koha and /var/spool/koha and made a dump from Maria-DB databases, and I'm waiting for upgrade finish. I'll tell you about results... Regards

Specify in IntranetUserJS to load from a file
by Dalton Fury 29 Jul '16

29 Jul '16

Hi, I am deploying a large Javascript code using IntranetUserJS. It would be very much easier if I could put it in a file somewhere and load the file. If it is possible, where should I keep the file and what should I write in IntranetUserJS so as to make koha use this file? Thanks!
