Change in results display between 3.18 and 3.22

We're currently running Koha 3.18 and planning to upgrade to 3.22 this month. We have OPACXSLTResultsDisplay set to "no xslt" (i.e., blank). All of the items have the status "Not for loan". In our productions system (3.18), the results display shows the items to be available, followed by location and call number, like this: Availability: Items available: Main Collection [261.72 M964r] (1), However, on our test system (3.22), the results display shows: Availability: No items available: I can change OPACXSLTResultsDisplay to "default", in which case the availability line changes to: Availability: Items available for reference: [Call number: 261.72 M964r] (1). The "default" setting causes other changes to the results display, too, so we'd prefer to leave it blank, but having it say "No items available" is a bit of a problem. I'm wondering whether anyone knows if this change between 3.18 and 3.22 is a bug or was intended. Jimmy, Regarding your question about installing Koha on Debian on your Mac, what is it that you plan to use Koha for? Is it for your person use or do you want to be able to share it with others? I have several different flavors of Linux installed on my iMac, but I use VMWare Fusion to host them. But this is all for my personal use. I'm not trying to share them with others. Hi, I have installed Koha 3.12.00 on Ubuntu Server 12.04 by packages method, having 1000+ records. Now, I am planning for Ubuntu OS upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04. Even though, It is not a Koha related query, my intention is, existing Koha should not get damaged, therefore, I would like to know, regarding OS upgradation (Not Koha Upadation) 1) What are the precautions one should take, apart from taking MySQL DB backup ? 2) Does OS upgrade affect the existing Koha, Installed on System? 3) And any other related advice ..for OS Upgradation or best practices? since, I never did an OS upgrade, your feedback is really help me to proceed further! Hello everybody When we has been updated our KOHA system to version 3.14.08.000 many of recordings repeated most of it without item forexample one title repeated to two one have an item and the other not I hope that you advise me what caused this problem and how to solve them Thank you I appreciate you for your cooperation

I don't have an easy answer for you either, but I didn't find it very hard to configure the Spine Labels. I use Demco labels. I'd be happy to send you a screen print of my config file if it is a help in getting you going. I found the Spine Label tool very flexible and we were able to customize the label for our own needs quite easily. We are a philatelic library, in other words we hold books about stamp collecting. We mostly follow the Library of Congress in their rules. On the Spine Label we have four lines of data: 1. The Country Code 2. The Topical Cutter 3. The Author Cutter 4. The Barcode Number. As each book is setup in the Catalog we apply a label with the Barcode Number on the inside cover. Then when we print a sheet of Spine Labels we can compare the barcode on the inside cover with the barcode on the Spine Label to make sure that we get it correct. Regards, Tim Auld Minnesota
