Hi all, Is there an easy way to display newly purchased titles from Koha somehow? Like a list or a search that I can link to? Either all of them or by ccode - and with a time limit - like the new titles from a month back or so? Helo, Ma Z39.50 seach cant connect to outside39.50 servers whenever a search is done. please any SQL script to enable/ initialized it. I had dropped my Database, to reinstall via Web Installer. Than in advance Sam

Contents of koha-zebra-daemon and koha-zebraqueue-daemon

Both the koha-zebra-daemon and zebra-queue-daemon file in /etc/init.d were empty. Is that by design, e.i. should I do that or is that accidental? It is never mentioned anywhere that code should be entered at installation, and I am still more of a librarian than a programmer... or, entering code myself has proven unsuccessful so far. Maybe somebody could send the code that should be in there? Sorry if this isn't a too bright question, I am just at a loss right now. Hey colleagues, Ma Koha Z39.50 search is not connecting to other outside servers. Any script to execute??? This happened after dropping the db and reinstalling.... Koha to MARC mapping for field not in database

Hello, What do I do when I am trying to map a MARC field to a field that is not in the koha tables? For example, I want to map 306a Playing Time to something but there is no suitable match (such as biblio.playingtime) in the mapping fields list. I am also curious about 650a Subject/Topic. Am I just missing this when I look for it in the database? In the end what I'm trying to do is show the Playing Time on the OPAC. I understand this may mean a change to the template, but I've added other fields and now I want to add this one too. We are using Koha 3.00.02.012 with MARC21. Thanks for any help, Melisa Canales

Thomas, you misunderstood me. I wasn't saying not to remove the links to version of Koha that not everyone can have access to - I was saying - don't leave the demos section blank - make sure we find a genuine Koha demo to replace them with. Vendors with their own versions of Koha can have those demos on their own sites, but they don't belong on koha.org. Hi, I have Koha 3.0 running on Ubuntu. I would like to integrate it with our mail server. My requirements are: 1. User must be able to place request from OPAC page, which must drop into the Librarian's mail box. Is it configurable in the existing system or needs some code change? 2. User and the librarian must receive a mail whenever a book issued exceeds the due date. Please let me know if some more details are required to address this requirement.
