This might have been covered before but how do people see koha working with open source federated search tools like pazpar2? The advanced search feature in koha is good but it.s not a true federated search. I.d like a koha search to return results from our web-based video library.

Sorry, but whether there is a US Koha conference or not, there is zero chance of our organization, and I suspect any other Kansas Koha users, going to KohaCon NZ. Too bad but that's just the way it is. Marc records not appearing in catalog.

We have successfully imported MARC records from Winnebago Spectrum to Koha. But, a lot of imported records in Koha reservoir do not appear in the Koha catalog. They are in the reservoir, but we can't get them into the catalog. The information I have gleaned from Koha blogs suggests that this is an issue with Zebra indexing. Can anyone help? Add item error

Hello all, I noticed in the archives that someone else has had this problem. I can add a MARC record, but when I try to add an item associated with it on my new 3.00.03 Koha install on Ubuntu 9.04 I get the following error: Can't call method "append_fields" on an undefined value at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0/MARC/File/SAX.pm line 92. at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0/MARC/File/SAX.pm line 92 Bug number 3520 was opened and a patch was made. My question is, How do I get and/or apply this patch? Sorry if this is a simple question. I am new to Koha and the set-up. US Koha Conference NOT KOHACON NZ

I wanted to see what type of interest there is in another conference in the US and who would be willing to help/host/committee/present... There has been lots of discussion about other issues, but thought we should refocus our energy to helping each other. I know Chris is working on a conference in NZ - KohaCon 2010 anniversary - but many of us I know won't be able to attend. I don't want to take any thunder from that though as well... What are peoples thoughts - concerns... Hi all git.koha.org appears to be down at the moment (for a couple of hours now). I'm guessing Liblime are aware of it and are working on getting it back up. In the meantime http://repo.or.cz/w/koha.git is up to date. Maybe we need to think about shifting git.koha.org to a different server? Chris

OPAC Search

Hi, Should the following behavior in Koha 3.00.03 be expected normally? I save a record from a Z3950 search but I do not create an item. So I only have this title record. I see in the zebra update log that a new record was exported. Unfortunately, I cannot find the title in the OPAC. Now, I create an item for this title. Again I see in the zebra update log that a record was exported. At this moment I can find the title in the OPAC. Since I can find other title records without item records, I wonder what is going on. Way to search by acqdate in opac?

I can limit by so many other things in the opac is there a way to limit my search say acqdate > 7/1/2009? or something similar? I see part of this search in the "most popular" - opac-topissues.pl - but I don't want top issues, I want just most recent. LDAP Update problem

Hello, Our site is using LDAP authentication against Koha. For the most part, it is fine. However, recently we noticed that when a user logs into the OPAC their Branch Code changes back to the default value in the koha-conf.xml file. I have tried turning off <update> in the conf file but this hasn't made any difference. Would anybody know of any potential problems to making the branch code in the borrowers table allow NULL values? This way we could leave out the default location code and there shouldn't be any over writing issues.
