I don't remember, if this was possible on koha 3.00.00, and want to ask, if on koha 3.02.00, is it possible, from OPAC and anonymous patron, without login, to send from the cart, I don't know, how this could work, best regards, M. Mohr

008 fixed fields for non-book materials and 007
by Hillyard, Cecil 20 Dec '10

20 Dec '10

Hi, When cataloging a non book item and trying to edit the fixed fields the only information in the 008 is for books. How do you change the plugin information to reflect other material information. i.e. Position 26 file type for CD-ROM (and in our system VIDEO GAMES). In the 008 editing mode it does come up as a 'derived value'. Derived from what? How does it know it is a G for game and not a I for interactive multimedia, or J for online service, etc. __________________________ Cecil Hillyard http://library.washoecounty.us Washoe County Library Technical Services 4001 S. Shelley, From a command line run ps -ef | grep zebra and you should see something like the below. If it comes back with a blank line or simply returns the "grep zebra" command then the server is not running. koha 2935 1 0 Dec17 ? 00:00:00 daemon --name=koha-zebra-ctl.koha --errlog=/var/log/koha/koha-zebradaemon.err --stdout=/var/log/koha/koha-zebradaemon.log --output=/var/log/koha/koha-zebradaemon-output.log --verbose=1 --respawn --delay=30 --user=koha koha -- /usr/bin/zebrasrv -v none, fatal, warn -f /etc/koha/koha-conf.xml koha 2937 2935 0 Dec17 ? 00:00:00 /usr/bin/zebrasrv -v none, fatal, warn -f /etc/koha/koha-conf.xml Randy Rowe Lincoln City Libraries I.T. -----Original Message----- From: "Shelley & Kurt Kemperman" <ksckemperman(a)chartermi.net> Sent 12/19/2010 5:02:11 PM To: "Shelley & Kurt Kemperman" <ksckemperman(a)chartermi.net> Cc: "koha mailing list" <koha(a)lists.katipo.co.nz> Subject: Re: [Koha] Imported records not found in catalog search OK, a simple google search defined zebra for me, but second question still applies - how do know if it's running? Re: [Koha] Curious searching problem with zebra
by Chris Cormack 19 Dec '10

You are absolutely right removing it would cause problems, but I don't suggest doing that, if you look at bug 5515 you will see I suggest we use something other than and for the directive perhaps +++ and then change build query to use that. People could still use ccl from the browser if they type ccl= but all other searches would be constructed by buildquery and would look like ti=the hobbit +++ au=tolkien. Which would mean ti=and simple +++ au=bob would work too. We might want to do the same with or and not. Hope this makes sense, typed on my phone while taking a break from christmas shopping. Merry christmas to your family Henri Damien, and to everyone else in the Koha family :) Chris On 18 Dec 2010 07:08, "LAURENT Henri-Damien" < henridamien.laurent(a)biblibre.com> wrote: Le 17/12/2010 18:17, Chris Cormack a écrit : > On 17 December 2010 23:46, LAURENT Henri-Damien > <henridamien.laurent(a)biblibre.com> wrote: >> Le ... mmm... removing and from ccl properties would break all the crossed searches... say I want Title=Stories and author=Poe and pb=Penguin Removing and from ccl.properties... would make it fail.
