Why yes, yes there are. That, gentle reader, is where you come in. Haven't you always wanted to chair an IRC meeting on a topic that is near and dear to your heart? Of course you have. In especial if you've the knowledge and you've wondered how to contribute but were too shy to offer. The dates I filled in were suggestions, but I wanted to drive home that if we really want to have all of these meetings, it's going to take us until January's end, just about. So the faster folks volunteer, the more like these are to happen. I've pointed the finger at folks I think might possibly help us out and Chair, but who knows? So go on! How hard can it be? Starting in 2011 the newsletter will be published every other month. So if you have an announcement you want out before February please send it to me for this newsletter. This is an opportunity for libraries to register their impressions of the ILS product they use, its vendor, and the quality of support delivered. Is support getting better or worse? The survey also probes at considerations for migrating to new systems and the level of interest in open source ILS. While the numeric rating scales support the statistical results of the study, it's the comments offered that provide the most insight into the current state of library automation satisfaction. Please help your fellow libraries who might be in the process of evaluating library automation options by responding to the survey. Any information regarding vendor performance and product quality can be helpful when making strategic decisions regarding automation alternatives. A large number of responses strengthen the impact of the survey and the subsequent report. If you have responded to previous editions of the survey, please give your responses again this year. It's very helpful to understand whether things are getting better or worse. As with the previous versions of the survey, only one response per library is allowed. While all the individuals that work in a library may have their own opinions, please respond to the extent that you can from the general experiences of your library. New Arrivals display in OpacMainUserBlock?

Hi, Currently my library is using 3.00.01.005. I'm hoping to add a little section to the OpacMainUserBlock that would show the titles and cover images of some of the newest arrivals to be catalogued. Has anyone already done something like this for their library? hi my problem i made setup SMTP and configured mail , but system give a lot of errors in mail error files .. like server connecting failed , is it any way to stopping this errors and working send mail
