I've tried 'Ignore' and 'Don't Ignore' on the QueryRemoveStopwords entry in the searching preferences. It works the same both ways. And it is not supposed to matter when you are using zebra. I can't find any other preference for stop words. I tried to search 'and the' with no hits either way. I'm wondering if it's a 64-bit system problem. I did have to change the modulePath in the.cfg files in /etc/koha/zebradb to: /usr/lib64/idzebra-2.0/modules. My main system is openSUSE 11.3 and my test system is squeeze/sid Debian. Both are 64-bit. Both work the same way. I'm going to try a 32-bit system to see if that makes a difference. The problem is you are fetching the files from a non official source, or official mirror. You should be getting the files from download.koha-community.org and reading about koha at www.koha-community.org. The liblime/ptfs controlled site is hideously out of date and contains links to not only old releases (3.2.1 is the latest stable) but to corrupt ones. I wish they would either turn the site off or redirect it to the official one so they stop causing these kind of problems. But for your purposes getting the file from download.koha-community.org and reading the documentation on www.koha-community.org should see you right. It depends completely on your environment, so I can't send you a configuration. But if you start by creating a new koha_conf.xml (by copying your existing one) with updated database and zebra access details, create a new zebra setup (I can't help there, I don't know enough about zebra yet), set up an apache virtual host that uses the new one, and set up the new database for it to use, that's most of what you need. This does require a moderate amount of sysadmin knowledge, which this email window is too small to contain, but I'd say less than duplicating everything behind a second IP address. Cecil, You need to follow the instructions in the manual page I gave you. It walks you through adding fields to appear in the framework. Once you add the 090 to the framework you can then edit the record you're talking about and the 090 will be there for you add/change content in. Cataloging question- adding tags

Hello Koha people, I have some questions about cataloging. How do you add a tag to a bib record when the tag does not already exist? There seems to be no mechanism for inserting a new tag. I can duplicate but not add. Can one just change a tag number if it was erroneously labeled? e.g. changing 650 0 Outer space to 651 0 Outer space. Or do you have to reenter all the information into the correct tag? libxslt version 1.1.18 problem

Hello everyone, This is a pre-Koha install problem - hope it's OK asking it here. I'm trying to install Koha 3.02 on CentOS 5.5. The Koha "make test" asks for libxslt 1.1.18 and quits with an error. I've seen the discussions and proposed solutions on this problem in several places including on this list and I tried them out without any joy. For example, I downloaded libxslt 1.1.18 from debian and tried to install installed it. But running "make test" throws up errors, asking for higher versions of libxml, etc. and trying to install these now (using rpm) throws up other dependencies and requirements which don't play well with each other. I don't know if there is anything specific to Debian in that package that is causing problems with CentOS. Has anyone got this working with CentOS5.5? Or is it a CPAN problem? I've tried to avoid installing XML::LibXML XML::LibXSLT XML::RSS using CPAN (the combination of these things seem to cause the problem) but I think the latest updates to CPAN (which I did do) will install the problematic version of XML::LibXML.
