Salve! I know that some of you will soon be boarding Iron Eagles only to emerge sometime on Wednesday, so I figured I should at least give you a hint about what to wear. :) From weather.com it looks like things will be in the just below room temperature teens. It's meant to be mostly sunny. (What? Fahrenheit? Civilised people use centigrade. Oh fine, it's meant to be in the mid to high sixties.) This is slightly warmer than last year according to the Farmer's Almanac. TSA agents are in the unenviable situation of having to work while not receiving pay. This is also the case with the Air Traffic Controllers. So expect delays! Cheers, Brooke

Author fields 100a , 110a and 111a locked

Hi I had this problem before and resolved it, cannot recall how. I have a new Koha installation version 3.12.05.000 It appears the author fields 100a , 110a and 111a locked are locked and cannot key in anything. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Fines.pl Script is not working

Hi, I need to know why , fines.pl script is not working for my koha system. Whenever i run this command ' perl /koha-3.12.04/misc/cronjobs/fines.pl ' i get error saying no branchcode argument passed. Here is the exact error: "Use of uninitialized value $branchcode in exists at /koha-3.12.04/misc/cronjofines.pl line 110. No branchcode argument passed to Koha::Calendar->new at /koha-3.12.04/misc/crobs/fines.pl line 169." I try to run it with different paramters as well. like -o, -l ,-v. but error is still there. Can anybody help me in resolving that issue.? I am stuck in here ,could not find any solution to that error. New framework

I did a couple of things with frameworks that I am wondering about. First, I know it is not recommended to edit the default framework. Momentarily forgetting that, I added some new tags. Then I deleted them all. So I should be OK with the default framework now? Second, I created a new framework using the default as the template. I added some RDA fields. When I import records, then pull them up in the staff interface, and click on "MARC" for display format, they are all there, but not necessarily showing up under the correct numeric tab but just scattered around in the record. SIP2 testing error

A few weeks ago, I posted on the list re a SIP2 testing error and Chris Cormack and Liz Rea responded with possible solutions. Liz's suggestion was the one that worked and I want to thank her and Chris for their suggestions. LibSys to Koha migration

Hi there, I have to evaluate the feasibility and difficulty of migrating a catalog from LibSys ILS to Koha. Grabing information from the "Inernet", I found out that apparently LibSys doesn't provide an export module, and so export must be done via a Report module. The result data are not MARC in any way, and have to be reformated heavily prior to be imported into Koha. Does any library, and especially indian libraries, would accept to share their experience, tips, and tricks, migrating from LibSys to Koha? Zebra/Yaz versions for 3.12.05

Some might not have seen this since it was an update on an earlier thread... I'm running 3.12.05 on RHEL6 and have found that the combination of the latest versions of Yaz and Zebra are not working as expected. For those running 3.12.05, can you tell me what versions of Yaz and Zebra you are running? Auto setting Library for Single Branch - "NO LIBRARY SET" -

Hi, Greetings! We have a small library and want to operate koha in single branch mode. We are using Koha 3.12 In the staff admin page, the default library is NOT SET and we need to set it manually every time we login to the only library we have, even when the library is chosen from the login page. Am I missing some setting or Is koha capable of detecting and setting the only library as default? Request your kind help on this... Thank you. Sincere, warm regards Spurgeon

Koha OPAC site

Hi Guys! I have just finished installing Koha using this installation guide on *Ubuntu 12.04 LTS*. , http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_ubuntu_-_packages but the OPAC site does not work. It only displays this. It works! This is the default web page for this server. The web server software is running but no content has been added, yet. Could anyone suggest how I could get this fixed! Thanks! Richard
