Koha 3.12 installation problem

Hi, When i try to install a koha instance, the installation stops at this point: # koha-create --create-db library sed: can't read /etc/koha/apache-site.conf.in: No such file or directory It seems that the installation package koha-common is not creating the configuration files of Apache (or any other configuration file in /etc/koha). How can i solve this? thanks for help.

Salvete! Thanks to our delicate system of "governance" bad stuff might soon happen to Library of Congress sites. So, if you're getting loc.gov related errors, (Such as setting your z39.50 target as LOC) it's not a Koha issue, it's a freggin U.S. government issue. Kohacon 2014 in Córdoba, Argentina

Hi everybody, Kohacon 2014 will take place in Córdoba, Argentina! Congratulations! We have a clear vote of roughly 3:1. There are some duplicate votes on both sides which I will consider software or server errors :P and I will have a look at the unfinished votes later. I had one person saying they could not finish the vote, later telling me that it worked eventually. I cannot present final numbers at this point but the result is clear. I'd like to thank both Córdoba and Ibadan very much for offering to be hosts for our conference! -- Mirko

links between bibs and authorities lost for custom authority types since upgrade from 3.6

Hello Koha community, a few days ago I upgraded a Koha package system (UNIMARC flavour) from 3.6 to 3.12: I really like the 3.1x series and everything went quite smooth except some links between bibliographic and authority records being lost. Now if I go to More › Authorities and search the authorities by type, I get the expected search results but only the records belonging to the "bundled" italian auth types are correctly linked to biblios in the "Used in" column. I have created two custom authority types in the 3.6 system but according to 3.1x (the problem occurs in 3.10 and 3.12, not sure about 3.8) they are all Used in 0 biblio(s). I was aware of the warning for UNIMARC libraries upgrading to 3.10 and I manually replaced non-UNIMARC values found here http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=3087, restarted Zebra, even did a full reindex, but no success. I quickly checked some data involved in the linking within auth_header and biblioitems tables (like biblionumbers, biblioitemnumbers and $9 in the marcxml fields) and they seem to match with the ones in 3.6. I've been scratching my head for some days and tweaked some more the Zebra files but I had no luck, I also ran link_bibs_to_authorities.pl, and enabled the CatalogModuleRelink and LinkerKeepStale sysprefs... but again, no success. :) Could you help me please? Duplicating a running environment

Hello everyone, If I have a working 3.12.00.000 environment installed from the Debian squeeze packages, what is the best way to make an exact, complete duplicate onto a 2nd machine? Can anyone send me or point me to some step-by-step instructions? Doesn't have to be complete details, just the general steps (i.e. install Koha from scratch from the packages, backup MySQL DB, copy "such-and-such" a directory from the 1st machine to the 2nd and modify "this" config. File and "that", etc.). Do I have to make sure that the same version of Koha is installed on the 2nd machine, and if so, how do I force apt-get to install the 3.12.00.000 version? Or can I copy the existing Koha directories over from the 1st server to the 2nd and not even do the install via the packages on the 2nd one? Hope this makes sense.trying to build a "test" environment AFTER already having the "production" environment up and running. Thanks, as always! Steve

But the email looks like this The following items have been checked in: ---- ---- Thank you for visiting My Library. All the other tags are replaced properly, but biblio.title is not replaced. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? Zebra not indexing

I'm probably missing something basic somewhere, but my zebra indexes are not getting created as expected.
