Looking to Query Indicators

Hi all, Anyone know if there is a way to query a marc field based on the indicator value. I have this report (which works): select b.title, b.author, ExtractValue(m.marcxml,'//datafield[@tag="521"]/subfield[@code>="a"]') AS lexile from biblio b left join biblioitems m using (biblionumber) where ExtractValue(m.marcxml,'//datafield[@tag="521"]/subfield[@code>="a"]') between <<Lexile between>> and <<and>> But I want to only query 521s that have a 8# in the indicators. My report will find all of the below: 521 2# - TARGET AUDIENCE NOTE Target audience note 4-8. 521 0# - TARGET AUDIENCE NOTE Target audience note 8.8. 521 8# - TARGET AUDIENCE NOTE Target audience note 1150 But I only want the last one. Message from import of records

We are running version 3.10.09.000. In the summary table after an import, I had a line that was "number of items ignored because of duplicate barcode: 1". Is there a way to see what the barcode is? Or for that matter, if it came back with ignored bib records, etc.? The reports library has a lot of item reports, but none that seemed to fit that exactly. Open source replacement for 3M self check station

Hi, Since 2009, we have a 3M RFID self check in our library and it is well integrated with Koha (3.8). But... Some time ago, an automatic update of Windows made the self check station unavailable. We don't have any backup or install cd (3M refused to give it). The warrantee period is over and 3M asks a high charge to repair it (more than 2000 euros, that is bigger than a computer and the usual devices of a self check). As we 're going to upgrade our Koha installation to 3.12, we want to use an open source system to replace the software of the self check. Does anyone has some experience for an easy-to-install free software with that hardware ? Sincerely, -- Daniel Berthereau

Indexing issues continue

Greetings, I recently discovered part of our indexing problems were a result of /tmp being too small. So, I put TMPDIR=/var/tmp into /etc/environment and rebooted. That got the koha-rebuild-zebra now using /var/tmp instead of /tmp, and hence no drive space issues. However, I’m getting a warning, which I think is affecting indexing, because I can’t find anything in OPAC. Hi I have a new koha 3.12.05.000 installation. I have created loan rules with more than 20 day loan period. When I am checking out a book, I am told that " High demand item. Loan period shortened to 0 days (due ). Check out anyway?" and when I say "Yes" its defaulting to 0 days. Where could I have gone wrong? Where is the High demand Item set? What does this zebraidx error mean?

Greetings, Thank you to eythian and ebegin on the #koha channel. After finding the cause of our indexing problem (a 16MB /tmp partition, which we have no power to change), and using the -d parameter on the koha-rebuild-zebra script to point to a different temporary directory, I was able to get a full reindex to run to completion. I did get a strange error once while doing so, and I am wondering if this was solely because of permission problems I had on the temporary directory that I specified, or if there is something else. Here is the error: zebraidx: it_key.c:98: key_compare: Assertion `l <= 5 && l > 0' failed. Any ideas? GPML, Mark Tompsett

Login Timeout

Managed to get my login time out set to 1 sec. Is the Admin preferences saved in the database or a file.
