It does help - but which notices are generated by advance_notices.pl ? I don't think hold notices are controlled by that .. so what code do we use on those? As far as I know overdue_notices.pl controls overdues advance_notices.pl controls advance notice (predue) and item due notices (due) That leaves holds, checkin and check out notices ... Nicole
