Is there any functionality built-in within KOHA, that query all books with no barcodes and put barcodes automatically on it? Importing Marc files

Hi I am looking at some tutorials on how to export current data from a library database we have and then use markedit to convert into a format for Koha. I am following this guide: http://manual.koha-community.org/3.2/en/marceditexcel.html I initially export the data as a csv and then open with excel and same as a tab separated .txt file. I do marcedit delimited text transfer. Then marcmaker. then I try to upload and get the output. MARC staging results : 0 records in file 0 records not staged because of MARC error 0 records staged Did not check for matches with existing records in catalog 0 item records found and staged I ran marc validator and got results like this: Record #: 1 001 (if defined): 245 (if defined): Errors: One 245 field must be present in a MARC21 record. Record #: 2 001 (if defined): 245 (if defined): Errors: One 245 field must be present in a MARC21 record. I was wondering if there is a template I can use to match my fields? Thanks

error update database 3.14 to 3.16

hi i'm finished upgrading koha database 3.14 to 3.16 , every thing likes good except when search in checkout box with ID i get that error Software error:Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/local/lib/perl/5.18.2/DBI.pm line 2064. For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([no address given]), giving this error message and the time and date of the erro any help

Fines error

Hi, Koha 3.05 When i run fines.pl it shows the following lines. DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Duplicate entry '21194412' for key 1 at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Log.pm line 76. No branchcode argument to new. Should be C4::Calendar->new(branchcode => $branchcode) at ./fines.pl line 102 Fine amount calculating for few members only. I would appreciate some help diagnosing a problem. I have three package installed Koha instances running on a Debian server, for a number of weeks all has been OK but today the opac address for one instance leads to the opac of another. The admin interface operates without issue though. I have reloaded the config and restarted apache but the problem remains. Any assistance would be appreciated. Message Queue always empty

Hi everyone. I have been trying to setup email notices in Koha 3.14 and now 3.16. But the table message_queue never gets any records it's always empty. For a more immediate test, i have been creating new patrons, to see if i get the message on registration (the system preferences option is enabled) but nothing. Any ideas? full admin interface

Hi Is it possible to use the full administration interface remotely through a web browser. It just seems that when I log in from remote I only get a limited interface even if I log in as koha_library But if I log in through lynx locally, also using koha_library, I get more administration menus and stuff. problem in OPAC search

Dear Alll In koha database, using xampp, items table, in field homebranch, which had varchar (4), I made it to varchar(5) , , Then I changed the data in homebranch field, For example it was ABCD and now it is ABCDE but in the search in OPAC, advanced search., If I find by ABCDE, it does not find any thing It says, no results found items.homebranch=ABCDE in the backend, it shows all the data with ABCDE in homebranch field in items table. Also I changed branch code in branch table from ABCD to ABCDE Where should be the problem Thanks and Regards Manoj
