Hi I updated Koha last night on Xubuntu using the PPA. Now I'm having the same problem on Firefox 34.0, It's working on Firefox 33.0. As a work around, you can search using the 'Check out' tab on the home page and then clicking on the "Details" tab. On Firefox 34.0 the console shows: Empty string passed to getElementById(). jquery.js:2 Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. jquery.js:3 TypeError: c is undefined query.dataTables.min.js 65 On Firefox 33.0, which works, the console shows: Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Major 3.18 upgrade problem -- Please help!

Dear all, We are having a major problem upgrade from from 3.16 to 3.18! Our IT person is able to resolve 2 warning messages related to Zebra_Bib_Index_Mode and Zebra_Auth_Index_Mode (found in About > System Informaiton). However, after a complete reindexing of Zebra, all our catalogue records (some 12,900 of them) have vanished! Searching of known items found nothing either via Staff Client or OPAC. We haven't able to use Koha last 2 days! As I'm not familiar with the operating system, etc., but my understanding is that he followed past upgrade method and it didn't involve a fresh/new install of Koha. Never encountered problem in the past upgrade until now. We don't seem to have any problem with patron records. I hope someone can provide advise and assistance. Also there seems to be some "challenge" to find upgrade instruction. Could we have such instruction made downloadable separate to the actual system files, so we can see what's involved. Problem with AutoCreateAuthorities

Hi, I'm working with unimarc marcflavor and trying to link subject field 606 to Thesaurus SNC. In Global System Preferences I selected AutoCreateAuthorities to 'generate'. In MARC Framework I linked subfield a to Thesaurus SNC. The problem is that it doesn't seem to work the automatic creation. No entry is created in table auth_header. Making analogue configuration for field 700 linked to NP Thesaurus everything works fine. I tried this with koha 3.14, 3.16 and 3.18 Thanks a lot. Best regards. Check in error

Library Herald App - Beta testers wanted

Apologies for cross-posting Hello everyone, I would like to announce a new Android app for librarians to keep up with the latest news, "The Library Herald App" available at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.library.herald.wo.jobs I have put it as a Beta version (meaning it needs testing), and I would *really appreciate* testers. I have set up a Google Community for that purpose: https://plus.google.com/communities/108527211796112252514 Anybody can join, and the app is free. Right now, it works only on Android, but if there is a good response, it could entice me to make it work on other devices. It has already been an interesting learning experience, and I even made a promotional video. For more explanation, here is my opening post on the Google Community site: "I began this project as a learning experience for myself. First, I wanted to learn how to make an app, so I made one that I thought would be useful for my own purposes, and it turned out to be better than I expected and I wanted to share it. It turned out that if you want to share apps, it is best to use Google Play so that you do not have to "sideload" anything. So now I am learning the process of putting the app into the marketplace and how development can take place. To have a development process, you need to make a Google Community! By the way, you will see ads in this app, but the money does not go to me. It goes to the project that helped me create this app. Now I want to learn how to build apps from scratch.
