Software error at the time of checkin

Dear Friends, I got following error message when checkin a book, Software error: Can't call method "truncate" on an undefined value at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Circulation.pm line 1966. For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([no address given]), giving this error message and the time and date of the error. Version of Koha is 3.20.1 Ubuntu 14.04. Multiple Items for a Single Record

Hope all are fine. I have got a problem: I have generated MARC records of my old library database from the Excel sheet using MARC EDIT. Problem is, when i upload these MARC Records to my KOHA library, it shows multiple Items for a Single Record and all the details of 952 get scattered one by one showing an item of that record. The tables are not created until you run the web based part of the installer. You do this by accessing the staff site in a web browser. Relevance of purchase suggestion in staff client?

Dear All, What is the relevance of purchase suggestion module in Koha staff client under Acquisition if one can enter the record from option "new empty record" because purchase suggestion can be only placed by library staff from this module which seems to be irrelevant further if a staff has to enter the suggestion than why he/she can't directly enter through "new empty record" rather than using one more step of "suggestion". Please suggest me where i am wrong ? I feel if there will be an option to select the suggester name in that module (suggestion) than there may be more relevancy . If you read the bug carefully, you will notice it has been fixed. On a sort of related point, our cataloguers have recently brought to my attention the "new" RDA "264 - Production, Publication, Distribution, Manufacture, and Copyright Notice" field, which some of the Z39.50 imports appear to be using *instead of* 260 -- they tell me they're seeing it more and more often. 264 does not exist in Default framework (therefore in no others) so they are having to manually copy the data fields. Has anyone looked into this? Any thoughts of how best for Koha to deal with it? Unicode Barcode / Spine Label Soring Issue

Dear All, During customization work we are facing problem to sort (ascending / descending) Barcode / Spine Label those are entered in regional language esp. Bengali, Hindi etc. (in Unicode). Example: For numeric digits - while sorting a series of numbers like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 - it (barcode / spine) generate as ১,১০,১১,১২,১৩,১৪,১৫,২,৩,৪,৫,৬,৭,৮,৯ (1,10,11,12,13,14,15,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) For Alphabetic characters - the characters are not just like A,B,C,D. This are something completely different (for languages like Bengali, Hindi)- like অ,আ,ক,খ etc. Although we are using Unicode compliant keyboard layout such as Bengali Provat India (UTF-8), but this sorting is not working exactly as desired.
