We have been using the Seattle Public library Z39.50 server and it finds most of what we want. There are some books that are not found. Specifically this one, 978-0060573829. Does anybody know of a good server I could use for children's books? I tried the Madison WI public library server but it times out for me. I never got a response about my question if there was a way to figure out if anybody was logged on the Koha staff client. Seems like this would be a useful addition to Koha. Thanks, Paul
We use OhioLink, it has had an excellent track record of finding Scholastic rebindings and other children's books. //Riley -- Riley Childs Alumni Charlotte United Christian Academy Library Services Administrator new email: me@rileychilds.me mobile: +1 (704) 497-2086 web: http://www.rileychilds.me ________________________________________ From: Koha <koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz> on behalf of CTS-Programmer 3 (Paul Dokken) <cts-prog3@sil.org.pg> Sent: Wednesday, August 19, 2015 8:51 PM To: koha@lists.katipo.co.nz Subject: [Koha] Search server for children's books We have been using the Seattle Public library Z39.50 server and it finds most of what we want. Perfect! Thanks so much Riley. Ohiolink seems to have what we need. Apparently nobody knows how to determine if any library staff is using the staff client. Seems like this might be a useful feature. Maybe just store log on date/time in the db for a user? Nearer to home for you Paul, we've found Macquarie University to be quite good. New server details are not yet updated to irspy: hostname: ap01.alm.exlibrsigroup.com

The best way to get attention for that is to lodge an enhancement request in bugzilla: http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/ Patches are welcome too. :) Bob Birchall Calyx

Try Halifax Public Library catalogue.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca Port 210 Database: Horizon Location: CAN Syntax USMARC Steve Sowder BTW: I don't know what you use but I find BibDataZu client to be very useful and it free. On 8/20/2015 10:52 AM, Paul A wrote:
