Hi I would like to create an additional Koha OPAC page that would be populated by a database table using perl programming language. I have followed the wiki https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_as_a_CMS and for static HTML pages, I have managed to create an additional page. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Koha 3.14 & Receipt (Slip) Printers

Hi All, Currently we are running on Koha v3.14 and have all of a sudden come across an issue with printing slips in the Circulations screens (particularly Checkout and Checkin). Previously we have never had an issue with printing slips from any browser that we use (normally Google Chrome and Apple Safari - both on Macs), but now all of a sudden when we click/select the print slip options either from a menu option or a checkin alert Koha will quickly appear and disappear the print preview window within a second with no print dialogue box appearing whatsoever. I have tried Circulation in Firefox and have found that it will print slips, but when it does print the slips they are the length of a standard A4 piece of paper at minimum, even though the slip(s) aren't even near half that in length. Does anyone know what may have happened here, or how I would go about resolving this issue, as Google Chrome is our preferred browser as it runs a lot faster and efficiently compared to what Firefox does. login to koha using email and password

search weighting

How does search weighting work in koha now? That's odd, I never see the web installer, on any of the sites we host, after a package upgrade. Unless something has gone wrong or there was a cache issue. koha-upgrade-schema runs as part of the package upgrade and brings the db to the current version. You should only see the installer if the version number in the db is lower than the one in the code. Zebra/Plack/Timeout Issue

I just started using plack yesterday and I ran the commands below to get started. Everything was fine. The next morning I found that plack daemon was not running. I needed to rerun both: > sudo koha-plack --enable <instancename> > sudo koha-plack --start <instancename> Also, for a while now each morning I need to re-start zebra as it seems to stop on a daily basis > sudo koha-start-zebra peischool Potentially related is that timeout preference is not respecting the value from administration. I set it to both 7d and 604800. No matter what I choose I need to login again daily to koha administration site. Rebooting does not seem to be the cause of these problems. I just ran 'sudo reboot' and the server came back with all apache/mysql and daemons were running before and after the reboot. Also it didn't cause my session to timeout, which is good. By now, most of you are aware of <wiki.koha-community.org>, but did you know that there is an entry in that wiki which lists libraries and other institutions who use Koha? Please check the list found at <wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Category:Koha_Users> to see if your site is represented there (if it is not, then you will need to subscribe to the wiki in order to add it). Keeping that list up-to-date will help show the world how strong the Koha Community is.
