Hi Sharon and Diana. We have run into the spacing problem you describe here and we've developed a workaround. It takes a few steps, but it is a workaround until the bug is fixed. We've created a report for the libraries that want to use the workaround. The report generates a list of titles and call number of items sorted by accession date. The libraries download the spreadsheet for the report, they modify the spreadsheet to get the call numbers to format correctly. Then they pull the call number data into MS Word via mail merge to get a sheet of printable labels. We have some instructions written up about this. GST and discount not calculating correctly when placing an order in 3.0 acquisitions.

/(last one from me for the day I promise ..)/ Greetings all, I have just placed an order for a book in my new Koha 3.0 test site. The supplier profile is set with list/ordering price and invoice price both inclusive of GST (12.5%) The supplier gives a 15% discount. I ordered a book with a List price of $75. (See attachment for the screen shots showing the input screen and the order details screen.) The amount to be deducted from the budget needs to be exclusive of GST and discount ie the actual net cost to us of purchasing the item. So RRP $75 less GST (divided by 1.125) = a GST exclusive price of $66.66. Then if we deduct the 15% ($9.99) off the ex-GST price the book is actually $56.67. What appears to be happening is that Koha 3.0 then adds GST of 12.5% ($7.08) back on to the $56.67 to arrive at the $63.75 which is then deducted off the budget. This is the wrong amount. I think this may be a bug. Where does one log such things? And how do we incorporate a patch back into my demo site? Cheers Jo. Export and Import Data

copies available ?

Hi there, I'm having an issue with the way that the available copies statement displays in the OPAC. Though I've entered multiple item records, and on the detailed record page it shows "Holdings (4)" or whatever, on the results list I only see "Available copies (1)" even when there are, for example, 4 copies. It seems like this must be something pretty simple, but I don't see any preference that looks like it would affect this. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! Editing budget amounts resulted in budget disappearing

I had a bunch of 13 budgets set up in Koha 3.0 (test site). I clicked on edit and went into a few 8) to change the $ amount, and upon saving the edited budget the fund no longer displays on the home / acquisitions screen. Where there were 13 funds, now only 5 display. The 8 I edited no longer display. When I click on the manage link to get to home / admin / funds, then click on View all budgets, I can see all 13 budgets, but the start dates ahave been reset to 02/00/0 and no end date is entered. The only change I did was to adjust the $ amounts. Is this a known bug? or have I done something dodgy! cheers Jo.

Spent amounts

I'm working on pulling over all of our order history into Koha, and I have a question about the Spent amount in the acquisitions home page. It's calculating it incorrectly, because in Bookfund.pm the select statement is joining on bookfundid and not the budgetid so it's getting the amount spent in the entire fund and not the specific budget in that fund. Shouldn't the where clause have budgetdate less than or equal to AND startdate less than or equal to, not or? Thanks. rebuild_zebra.pl and option -x

Hello, Thanks for your attention. If you pick the xml option during the installation of Koha 3, do you need to add the -x flag to the rebuild_zebra.pl cronjob and remove the -a flag? Thanks, Steve

Another aquistion question

In the aqorderbreakdown table, is the allocation column not used? I'm assuming (maybe I'm wrong) that the field is used to allocate a percentage or amount of an order to different funds?
