Copy Information

I was spot checking a couple of my imported records and came across one that said it had no copies. I then double check our current application and found that there is (1) copy of the book. Does anyone know which field/s holds this information? Thanks Ed Edward J. dear all . i have installed koha3 in ubuntu8.10 ,i have ordered and receive the books , while i am in search of books i can able to search the books when i select option *ALL LIBRARIES* in Location and availability . but i could not able to search the book when i am in search of books in *Individual Libraries* . and i could not find the holdings for some books . -- WITH BEST WISHES ARUNKUMAR.P

Koha / Biblios, integration of batch searching?

I realize that you can integrate Biblios into Koha. Just wondering if is there currently a way to do a batch search/record download for a set of, say, ISBNs? In other words, I have a long list of ISBNs. I'd like to do a batch search on all the ISBNs simultaneously and download records found as a set. Doesn't appear possible on Biblios.net (without doing some custom work with their API). Just wondering if anyone has done any work on this already in relation to Koha / Biblios? TIA for any thoughts on this. Wade

Thanks to all who have responded to my earlier question as we consider the feasibility of using Koha in our very small libraries. 1) Has anyone experienced insurmountable learning-curve difficulties in terms of librarian use and administration? One of our libraries is staffed by someone with minimal computer skills. Another is self-serve (user self-checkout), with books catalogued by our tertiary work-study students and very little oversight. I'm wondering to what extent support for these folks could be handled remotely. ie Will Koha fly if no one is physically present to mind the shop, from the technical side, once it's set up and the software works smoothly. 2) MARC - English language books not published in the U.S. - I've run a few ISBN numbers thru the z39.50 Search and come up empty-handed against the Library of Congress. Often, our books were published in the UK. Does the UK have a preferred "Search target"? 3) Running Koha on a shared box versus dedicated. What about running a Content Management System (CMS), wiki, or some other program simultaneously. With fewer than 50 transactions per day we might be paying too much for a hosted service. 4) Special Search features. We have a special cataloguing number for some of our books, is it possible to display this number on the results, after a person does a search? Would I enter this number during the MARC cataloguing? Where? - there's so many fields! What about cataloguing chapter summaries for a book? Where might one enter this info? Migration to Koha 3.01.005 from Koha 2.2.8 (win 32)

Dear All I'm using koha 2.2.8 on Windows. I've installed Koha 3.0.1.005 on debian 4 r7 on a virtual machine and testing it. I tried to upload some marc records from 2.2.8 using bulkmarcimport.pl in koha 3.0.1 but got some errors... duplicate blah blah.
