KOHA in Portugal
by rafael.antonio＠sapo.pt 18 Mar '09

18 Mar '09

Dear list members, I have the pleasure to announce that on 30th March we will organize a meeting about Library 2.0: the KOHA experience, here in Lisbon. Jointly organized by our Library Association and Lisbon Faculty (Master on Information Science) we expect near 150 librarians. Nicolas Morin from BibLibre will do the main presentation where will discuss some other concepts including the new SOPAC. Thanks to all community for the opportunity to have such well developed solution that make us able to promote KOHA as an alternative for actual systems already installed (at present trying to follow Nicole evangelist role). Regards, Rafael Antonio

Upgrade 3.00.to 3.01
by Olugbenga Adara 17 Mar '09

Hello all, Please what are the steps to upgrade koha 3.00 to 3.01. The install file in the Koha tarball talks about referring to the 3.0 install log. Where is this log on the system? Will it work taking into consideration that this was a 2.2.9 to 3.0 upgrade? Olugbenga Adara Mobile: 234-803-3220288

Strange fines behaviour
by Olugbenga Adara 17 Mar '09

17 Mar '09

Hello all, I have some strange behaviour in the fines module of my koha 3.00 installation 1. All fines payment are logged as user 0, and when i click on this 0, it says user does not exist. This occurs no matter the user logged in. 2. A patron has a fine of 80 (That is in Naira) Suddenly the fine is recorded as paid, nothing appears in the log even though it is turned on. 3. A patron was charged 1 and then the 1 was recorded as paid. I am using Opensuse 11.0 the 3.0 installation was an upgrade from 2.2.9, in which the fine module has worked well for more than a year. Thanks for help and suggestions Olugbenga Adara Mobile: 234-803-3220288
