Hi All, Our enterprise based on Morocco works on integrating Open Source Software ( specially KOHA, Alfresco and others ) . We plan to develop a series of custom and robust installer for different open source project. To do that, the community help is indispensable. Koha Authentication with windows Active Directory

Hello to you all, I have installed koha in my institution library and would like patrons to login at the opac using their active directory accounts. I have followed the instructions in the Auth_with_ldap.pm file and made the necessary changes in the koha-conf.xml file. I have koha version 3.0100041, however when I login using a valid Active Directory account I get "You entered an incorrect username or password." in the opac. There are also no errors in both apache and koha error logs. I am kindly requesting for any assistance in making this work. I would appreciate help relating to what changes I may need to do in active directory as well or Auth_with_ldap.pm. I have attached a copy of my koha-conf.xml so that you may show me what am getting wrong. Stay well Anselm

Upload of Existing Records

Our school started its operations 7years ago. >From the time it has started, our library didn't use any of the Library Systems existing today. So our records are plainly saved and recorded in an Excel File. Is there any way that we can upload these records to Koha? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Exporting existing custom cataloging framework?

Has anyone had any luck exporting a version of a customized cataloging framework to another instance of Koha 3.0.... I have a very simplified framework that I'd rather not rebuild. Barring that anyone have any good ideas/examples of quickly creating a custom template. (I think I spent about 5 hours deleting fields for this current one.) Thanks, Scott

Migration of serials subscriptions and current issues

Everyone, Has anyone successfully automated a migration of serials data into Koha? I'm able to get my serials information out of my old ILS in MFHD (MARC Format for Holdings Data<http://www.loc.gov/marc/holdings/echdhome.html>), but converting the subfield codes into the rather complex table structures of koha.subscription and koha.serial is daunting. Anyone got a handy script kicking around they'd be willing to share? I have about 850 titles to do. If your suspicion is correct, and by 2 matches, which warily isn't enough data for a proper pattern, what is the rationale behind clinging to the old-1 format over the more comprehensive -2? http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/code_list.php Were this not an international project, I'd not worry about it, but -2 is more exhaustive. I don't even want to talk about -3. (I'm thinking this might simply have been a matter of what was available at the time, but that's changed, and I think we ought to, too.)
