I've just recently migrated from Follett to Koha3 (what a pain), but we have a crucial feature that was easy in Follett that I can't figure out how to do in Koha. The teachers in our school have created lists of books to pull for units they do each year. The information is now stored in the non-public note (Marc 952x). I can easily search for this data, but the list makes it very hard to go to the shelves to pull the books as the call number is only visible when looking at the item details. What seems to be the most useful process for us is to take a search result and make a private list out of it. The list view is quite concise, but contains the useless copyright year. I would love to have the call number there instead (I think items.itemcallnumber instead of biblio.copyrightdate). If someone could clue me in on the perl file and modifications needed that would be great. I can't quite decipher the interaction of multiple files and includes in the pages. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Darren De Zeeuw

Dear Friends, I tried installation of Koha 3.03 on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04). I tried perl Makefile.PL command and first step was successful. I selected Zebra in this step. After executing make command, I got following error. /usr/bin/perl "-Iblib/arch" "-Iblib/lib" fix-perl-path.PL blib /usr/bin/perl "-Iblib/arch" "-Iblib/lib" rewrite-config.PL blib/ZEBRA_CONF_DIR/etc/passwd Can't open blib/ZEBRA_CONF_DIR/etc/passwd for read at rewrite-config.PL line 172. make: *** [blib/ZEBRA_CONF_DIR/etc/passwd] Error 2 Installation was successful when I installed Koha without selecting Zebra. Hi all, My Koha version is 3.00.02.012 , I am using Cent OS 5.3, all perl modules are installed, done translation, have 2 users kohaadmin and test user withall preveligies checked. But More->Tools page is empty in kohaadmin and in test user. how can i fix this problem ? What must i do ? Thanks in advance

Hi Elshan This is not related to the user you are logged in as. It is confusing as the table name suggests that it is a user permission, but it seems to be an overall permission for any user to access each of the contents of the Tools page. Steve (and all), I support this idea and if there's a way I can be of assistance, let's talk. I think getting a ball like this rolling would have to come from someone like us - people who are not actively involved in just one of the products but who sees the importance of both products/projects succeeding.
