Thank you so much for the help. I had a little bumpy patch figuring out MarcEdit (I haven't had to really look at cataloging record structure in detail since library school). It finally worked when I added: 952$o Electronic Book and 942$c EBOOKS in addition to the fields Tajoli suggested. It could be that one of those was unnecessary, but since it finally looked right, I was disinclined to do more testing at that point. It's now almost exactly right. There's just one little thing left. Each book I added has an empty parentheses at the end of the Availability section of the display. I'm told this is the # of copies available. I looked at some of our records for ebooks that were migrated from Voyager, and also looked at some other Koha libraries that had ebooks, but I was unable to figure out what field controlled the contents of those parenthesis. Either the parenthesis should have the numeral 1 in them, or they shouldn't appear at all for e-book records. So can someone either tell me what MARC field/subfield controls the contents of those parenthesis, or else how to suppress the parentheses entirely when displaying ebooks in search results. LDAP integration question

Greetings all - I'm the Dir. of Tech at a small indie school in Dayton, OH and we're moving our library catalogs to Koha from an old Spectrum system. I'm a HUGE supporter of Open Source, and I am stoked that Koha exists! I'm almost ready to roll it out, but I've got one hiccup: I've got my Koha talking to my LDAP, and everything is working except for the fact that the "firstname" attribute isn't being integrated from the LDAP to the Koha database. I'm pretty sure I've got the mapping right, as I can do an "ldapsearch" from the CLI, and find the right info. Permissions Question

In Koha there are no permissions for Lists in the staff client - it shows for everyone. Is this an expected behavior or should we add a Lists permission as well? Nicole

I added "firstname" to the section, thinking it would just grab it naturally, but I guess this is not the case. borrower state

We have patrons (borrowers) from many states and countries. Is it possible to separate the city and the state anywhere? We also keep track of the in-state patrons home counties. Shelving location in items

Sorry that this is another "newbie" question. 952c is marked as the "shelving location" in items, and I'm assuming that this is like "Adult Fiction" for most libraries. Is that correct? We have what is in essence a second call number for archival items in that its regular collection call number in our 092 field could be PI/2009.005 and an archival item's second call number is used to actually pull the box from the shelf. That physical location usually in the form "B1/R352/S3 Box 35" We use both numbers on our holding slips. So, what I'm trying to figure out is if/where that physical location number could be stored.
