Hello all, How do i enable hold on items? When i try to place a hold on an item koha says "Sorry, none of these items can be placed on hold." i have checked my rules and i cant see anywhere i should enable holds. i am using koha 3.01.00.032 Thanks for your help. That looks like a development version from June 2009, says http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=en:development:dbrevs:start which probably contains some bugs. Thanks. I've checked both the itemtype and the item details. I've also checked the rules and could not find anything amiss. Trying to place the hold from the staff client gives the error "No copies are available to be placed on hold"

Without doing a step-by-step trace, I'm not sure why that is.

I don't know the vmware image. If it's a dev install, it might be possible to upgrade it with git, but that would be very fiddly without internet access (messing with pack and patch files). Do any koha developers remember fixing a "No copies are available to be placed on hold" bug which might cause the above problem? I discovered yesterday that I'm having this issue, too. My Koha version is 3.01.00.040. My sysprefs pertaining to holds seem to be in order, as well as my rules.
