HLT Koha Committee Draft Rules

Thanks to everyone who made suggestions to improve the draft committee rules. I've updated the draft rules here: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=en:organisations:koha_project_organisation: hlt:rules The section on Membership of the committee has been significantly amended. There was a suggestion that the Head Librarian of HLT be a member of the committee. The revised draft leaves that question to the Trustees. In the new draft, rather than having elections from time to time, persons with major roles in the community now have committee membership ex-officio. These officers (release manager, release maintainer etc) are elected from time to time by the community. There's no point duplicating the election process (IMHO). The committee itself can appoint another member - perhaps a representative of a library system rather than a support company? Other changes mostly reflect the suggestions that were made. Koha Installation on OpenSUSE11

Hullo Iam trying to install Koha, i have gone through the steps of installation, and all looked ok however, when i try to launch the browser it returns an error : {Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@librarycpl and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.13 (Linux/SUSE) Server at 192.168.0.98 Port 80}, I cannot see any probable error in the logs... any help would be highly appreciated. Idea for development - library floor plan on OPAC

Hi all I would like to imagine a feature for Koha's OPAC, where the customer can click on a 'Where is it?" button for any title that is available on shelf, and be presented with a library plan showing the section where the item should be. For instance, if the person looked up Pride & Prejudice, and the library has a copy in their Classics section, on the lower floor at the end of the Fiction shelving, the plan would show the shelving layout with the appropriate shelf area highlighted. This would of course require some work from each library to create the shelf layout, and then link it to categories or call number ranges in Koha. Patron Account Permissions

I'm trying to add staff accounts that do not have full permissions when they log in, but unless I give an account "Superlibrarian" permissions they cannot log in to the main page. Error message is "Error: Unauthorized user"? Thanks, Scott
