Sorting by acquisition date

Hello, When I create a record, the columns biblio.datecreated and biblio.timestamp of the database are not copied in the subfield 099$c and 099$d of the MARC record. So, the sort by acquisition date doesn't work for new records. koha overdue notice problem

Hello all. Once again I have stuck into a familiar kind of problem, its overdue notices. This time it is not much complicated, but weird. I have configured KOHA to send mails. Here, I'm using postfix. I can send mails when I use "mailx" command line. When I run ./fines.pl I can see that it says 2 counted, 2 reported. I can also see the log file, where there are details of the patrons who have overdues. Now, when I run ./overdue_notices.pl, there is no output. Using it with any switch combination gives no output at all. Also, ./process_message_queue.pl also gives no output. But in either case, there is no error message as well. Earlier, I used to check the database table named "message_queue" to see whether messages are queued, but there is also empty table. What might be the problem, please help. Importing bulk authorities and linking to MARC 653

We are using 653 - which in MARC is for uncontrolled terms. They're not from a recognized thesaurus, because our collection is so specialized, but they are controlled locally - in that I've imposed certain standards and have built our own thesaurus. I want to link our authority records for terms to this field. When I upload the data as authority records, will it link to the 653 field? I'm assuming it will go into the TOPIC_TERM authority list. (they're in 150 fields) When I looked at the MARC Bibliographic Framework for 653a it didn't seem to be able to link to TOPIC_TERM Is this because it's empty, or do I have to set something somewhere else? Bulk imports and authorities

A question of timing. At present, our authorities records are separate from the bibliographic data. I had thought of importing them in two batches. If I do that, which comes first, the authorities, or the bibliographic records? Or, do I have to put them all into the same import? Hi There is a also an rfc for analytical records on the koha wiki. I encourage you to read and add to it so that 3.4 works they way you want. Record Matching Rule for Path

Dear Koha Community, Could someone please offer advice on how to set up a record matching rule for path. We have spatial data indexed and for the tag 856(u) we have entered the directory path where the data is stored. This is the only unique identifier to match records to but we have had no success in setting up a record matching rule for the tag. We have the default record matching rules for ISSN and ISBN as well as one set up for title and these all work. We are uncertain as to the normalisation rule to enter as well as the search index.
