852's $h and $i into one 952's $o
by SlyzertVoltrond 29 Oct '10

How do I use MarcEdit's Find/Replace function to move 852's $h and $i subfield data into one 952's $o subfield? If I try to swap $h of 852 to $o of 952 and then do that again for $i of 852 field, I end up creating two $o entries in the 952 field, which I don't think is allowed for call number subfield. Also, I don't have the slightest idea how to use regular expressions to achieve the said task, so I would appreciate it if someone could write it for me, or at least guide me how to write one. regards, Maxwell

Kevin, Always reply to the list so that other people can help if I'm not around. I think the line you need to remove is libidzebra-2.0. Once you remove that line, give the script a try. Good luck! Dear all, We're about to begin the implementation of Koha in a large university library here in portugal. The library want's the UNIMARC version of Koha. I'm just wondering. For a fully-working, trouble-free, production-level implementation, would you recommend version 3.2.0 or 3.0.6? Thanks for you concern. Slideshare stinks because it uses flash and requires registration before you can download, I think? So can we put slides on the conference site or a wiki page before linking them from our foss lms's newsletter please? Ta, -- MJ Ray (slef), member of www.software.coop, a for-more-than-profit co-op.
