problem with Storable.pm version

Hi I'm trying to upgrade from koha 3 to koha 3.2 on debian etch and have run ./koha_perl_deps.pl -u -m and it is telling me that Storable is 2.18 and needs to be 2.21 I tried downloading the source and installing manually but now I have /usr/lib/perl/5.8.8/Storable.pm being 2.21 and /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8/Storable.pm being 2.18 but the check still says I've only got version 2.18 and need to upgrade how do I get the check to see the newer version? Or is there a better/more correct way to install Storable.pm? Any help will be appreciated Bob

Whats the big difference about Koha 3.2 and Koha 3.0?

Hi! I'm using Koha 3.00.06 and I would like to know if I shold change my version to 3.2? It's a big deal for libraries with more than 50000 books and other kind of itens like DVDs and CDs? Thanks in advance...... Geovana de Paula Santos Tarricone

852's $h and $i into one 952's $o

>From the link you gave me: "Next enter the following string into the 'Find what' box: (=952 ..)(\$h)([A-Za-z0-9.]*)(\$i)([A-Za-z0-9.]*)(\$.*\$b[A-Za-z0-9.]*) This will take the data from the $h field (and the data could be capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and decimals) and the data from the $i string (and the data could be capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and decimals) and $b is the last subfield in the 952 field. TIP: This regular expression may need to be changed depending on the type of data you have in your system. Libraries that use the LC classification system in particular may need to tweak the “replace” command to find and move cutters. And enter the following string into the 'Replace with' box: $1$o$3 $5$6 This string is saying stay in the same field number as in parenthesis #1, move the data from parenthesis #3 of the 'Find what' string next to $o, add a space, take the data from parenthesis #5 and move it to $o as well, then check to the end of the field and leave all the other subfield data alone." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried doing the above on my records, but I think it only finds the data and doesn't replace anything, because it said "0 modifications were made." and took a few seconds to finish. Koha cataloging Error

Hi! I'm cataloging my books, but there are some of them that I can't.All oh others are OK, but some..... I tried repetitively times catalog the books with error and it continues getting problem. Maybe should be a numerical sequence of ISBN? [koha 3.2] zebra search issues

Hello all. I have recently installed koha in Ubuntu following this manual http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Lucid_using_Koha_packages KOHA Version: Koha 3.02 Ubuntu Version: 10.04 LTS <http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_on_Lucid_using_Koha_packages>I got no problems in the installation and in the configuration. But, when I imported a record from z39.50 server and added it to the list. I cannot search the record. There is a record named 100 Days of Royal Takeover in Nepal, when I search 100 or 1 or anything else, it cannot search. It says record not found. For that I checked whether zebra server is running, it is already running. I used *$pgrep zebra to find out whether zebra was running.* **Earlier I had run zebra manually using *$zebrasrv -f /etc/koha/koha-conf.xml * * * *I have done the process using with and without "sudo" but the result is same.* **I have also done zebra re-indexing using *$sudo /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/rebuild_zebra -b -r -a -w* What may be the problem? unable to locate Koha configuration file koha-conf.xml

Dear Friends, When I tried to install Koha 3.02 and I got the following message in first line after executing the perl Makefile.PL command, unable to locate Koha configuration file koha-conf.xml at /build/koha-3.02.00/C4/Context.pm line 307. Koha 3.2 - bulkmarcimport.pl

I know that a lot of people are away, but has anyone successfully used /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.pl with 3.2? I'm getting an error message that is Use of uninitialized value $isbn in substitution (s///) at /usr/share/koha/bin/migration_tools/bulkmarcimport.pl line 209 ..... Plus it seems to occassionally throw an error regarding our use of the 951 field which it should be using the 952 for the items. Koha opacSerialDefaultTab

In the pre-release version of Koha 3.2 that we had (3.01.00.140) there wasn't anything under the Local Use Tab, and there isn't anything yet in the online documentation at http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual, and if it is on the Wiki, I couldn't find it. Could someone explain to me what the opacSerialDefaultTab setting does? Problem querying for OCLC

A number of the reports we use currently require us to pull a list of the bibs that either have or don't have an OCLC number and were added during the past week. While trying to create the same report in Koha, it appears I can't run a query that large against either biblioitems.marc or biblioitems.marcxml--the only two places that appear to have the OCLC number. The report times out, even if I limit it to a single day. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might be able to get the report working? Thanks!
