Problem querying for OCLC

A number of the reports we use currently require us to pull a list of the bibs that either have or don't have an OCLC number and were added during the past week. While trying to create the same report in Koha, it appears I can't run a query that large against either biblioitems.marc or biblioitems.marcxml--the only two places that appear to have the OCLC number. The report times out, even if I limit it to a single day. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might be able to get the report working? Thanks! Change the label zip to Staff ID number

I just upgrade to 3.2 and saw the upgrade note about HomeOrHoldingBranchReturn being added. I however do not have that in my database - in fact I still have HomeOrHoldingBranch which says it was supposed to be removed - not sure if it was supposed to be removed and replaced with this or what. Did any one else have this problem on upgrade? Nicole

non-public note in 3.2

Does 3.2 not have a non-public note field in items any more? The wiki has that field blank in http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Holdings_data_fields_%289xx%29#MARC21_H… Please tell me it does or something else I can use, because we need it. Strange search results behaviour in 3.2

While trying out some of the features in 3.2, something weird started to happen. In the staff interface - I ran a search that resulted in about 40 hits. I selected six of them. When I tried to save the selected items to a list, it presented me with a list of completely different titles, things that were not even in the original hit list. At first glance it appears that these are random items. Looking more closely, when I clicked on the record in the brief list, the actual bib record that came up was for the subsequent title in the imported file. The OPAC is doing the same thing. Five minutes ago, everything was working as it should. It all started shortly after I downloaded a record from the OPAC. I'm using Chrome from a PC at the moment, if this makes any difference. . . Just tested it on Firefox, the same thing happened. Anyone else notice this? Thank you very much, file permissions were indeed the issue. It's searching again. Apparently today is a much better day then yesterday! Thanks everybody for all your help! Running the zebraqueue-daemon is an poorly documented no-no. See http://koha-community.org/documentation/faq/searching/#18 I would suggest: 1. Making sure the zebraqueue daemon is *not* running; then try starting the zebra daemon. 2. Verify paths in koha-zebra-ctl.sh Kind Regards, Chris

However, when I do a 'koha-zebra-daemon-start' followed after waiting a bit by 'koha-zebra-daemon-stop' it tells me: daemon: fatal: failed to stop the koha-zebra-ctl.koha daemon: No such process So I am pretty sure it's not running. Does anybody have any idea what might have gone wrong?
