Hi, in our library we have some "internal" book. We want that only some categories of users can see, search, ... them. Is there any way to configure that? Piotr
At this time there is no function for this. You can suppress items from the OPAC and have them searchable by all staff only - but you can't decide that this patron type can see these items and this patron type can't. Scroll to: 1.1.4.1.7. Hi Piotr, We had a similar issue where I work, and solved it by making multiple databases for Koha, with a separate Apache instance for each. The public database is reachable through our firewall and accessible to all, while the internal DBs are only available on our internal network and we provide links via our intranet server for on campus users. See this link for some notes about how I set it up: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.misc.koha/19828 Best, Doug -----Original Message----- From: koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz [mailto:koha-bounces@lists.katipo.co.nz] On Behalf Of Piotr Sent: Tuesday, November 09, 2010 12:11 PM To: koha@lists.katipo.co.nz Subject: [Koha] Hidden branches of Library - How to do?
