Unwanted symbol in cataloging sheet

Dear Friends, I just installed Koha latest version 3.02.02. I found a strange "?" symbol in cataloging data entry sheet. Thisquestion mark symbol appear adjacent to MARC field number. Please see the screen shot here. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/L-GV2yH4VrEMSG3OcxBl8w?feat=directlink Another problem is that, field 100 Author seems locked. I changed the parameters in System Preferences > Authorities > Biblio Addauthorities But it still seems locked. I would like to hear a solution from you, Regards, -- Vimal Kumar V. Opac Nav

Hi there. There is a way to block the opac nav html code only to the main page of Koha Opac? I think that maybe there is a perl variable to block the opac nav to appear in others pages than the main.... Regards. Vitor Fernandes

Cannot save edited patron info in koha (but I can in mysql)

This might be a permissions thing, but I am not sure. When I edit a patron's information I can change all fields I need to, but after the information has been 'saved' nothing has changed (When I am logged in as a superlibrarian) I can play in mysql and do a 'UPDATE borrowers SET city = 'Keswick' WHERE borrowernumber = 1234; This results in the changes info showing up in Koha, but I need this working in Koha, so the librarians can change patron info. As usual, any ideas are appreciated. Marty

hi when try to uploading a patron images i got this error .. i searched for 3 days but every thing failed any help , i'm using GD 2.45 Software error: Can't locate object method "newFromJpeg" via package "GD::Image" at /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.1/GD/Image.pm line 81.

KOHA on windows install problem

Hi all I have a problem with our KOHA installation. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. On the catalog module of our Intranet, it shows the bib and item records but only the bib record is displayed on the OPAC and no copies (Non reservable) nis displayed. I also noticed on the server that on the intranet, Parameters:MARC Links:items, page is empty. It was working fine and all of a sudden it stopped working. Hi All, My name is Michael. We here, at the NCAR Library (http://library.ucar.edu/) have recently migrated to Koha from Sirsi-Dynix. Our primary struggle at the moment is teaching ourselves the ins and outs of the Serials module and connecting subscription records to purchase orders. I haven't yet, I was wondering if you had a patch for it working at itemlevel, if not ill do one uncommenting it again. Dear Savitra and Owen, Thank you for the quick response. I unlocked the Author field by making Administration>Bibliographic Framework>Thesaurus > blank. I am waiting for the solution to remove " ? Chris, We do not run a GIT repository for our Koha system yet. However, we do have several demo installations for Koha 3.2.x that we can use to patch with. Today is weekend here in Saudi Arabia so our tech staff are out of the office. Our Koha programmers will resume working on Saturday. I will ask someone to uncomment the availability code as you have suggested and see if it works. Thanks, Massoud M.
