Update on 3.2 Roadmap

My apologies to all for missing the meeting yesterday. Koha 3.2.x continues to roll along on its monthly release schedule thanks to the hard work of various developers and the 3.4 Release Manager. January's release of 3.2.3 is scheduled for the 22nd, just a little over two weeks from today. So far there are 40 some commits since the release of 3.2.2. The new work flow implemented upon the release of 3.2.0 has made scheduled, time-based maintenance releases a reality. I would encourage all interested parties to get behind this 100% as it will be the surest way to move Koha's entire release cycle to a time basis. A reminder to developers submitting patches which need to be back-ported to the 3.2.x branch: Please ensure that your patch will apply cleanly to both HEAD *and* 3.2.x. If not, please supply a separate patch marked for the 3.2.x branch. Patches causing merge conflicts will be rejected until fixed. Kia mau ki te mahi pai! Ann, Start by solving the first error in the list which is Can't locate YAML/Tiny.pm try installing YAML::Tiny with cpan. then try reinstalling the PDF::API2 module You're welcome. Koha upgrade to 3.2.1 issue with DBD::Sqlite2 and PDF::API2::Simple

Hi there, I am Ann. I am trying to upgrade from Koha 3.00.05 to 3.02.01, but keep get the message for lacking 3 prerequitesite: DBD::SQLite2 (I have the SQLite but not Sqlite2, trying to find the SQlite 2 for opensuse but still can't) Graphics::Magick (the same issue, I used yast2 to install but just found the version 1.2.5 not the 1.3.5 as requried) PDF::API2::Simple (looks like it is there, but keep bumping to errors: Running install for module 'PDF::API2::Simple' Running make for R/RE/REDTREE/PDF-API2-Simple-1.1.4u.tar.gz Has already been unwrapped into directory /root/.cpan/build/PDF-API2-Simple-1.1.4-vDfJo3 '/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL' returned status 2304, won't make Running make test Make had some problems, won't test Running make install Make had some problems, won't install Does anyone have any ideas how to get around these issues ? error message while doing z39.50 search

While doing z39.50 searches today, I was getting an error message for some books. When I typed the ISBN and hit search, this is what I saw: Koha Error The following fatal error has occurred: Wide character in null operation at /usr/share/per15/MARC/Charset/ Table.pm line 96. I can't seem to find a whole lot about error messages in the manuals. The 2 groups of books that were giving me trouble were Harry Potter books and American Girl books. Any advice? Thanks, Shelley

restore with 2 week old backup

Greetings friends, approximately two weeks ago one or more of the staff removed data from our Koha 3.01 database. We now have items separated from borrowers. As far as I can guess, the delete all items function was used while viewing biblios and items that were checked out were also deleted. When viewing an affected borrower record, a due date appears but not item information. When browsing the catalog, the total number of items displays along with numbers available and numbers checked out but the numbers are not correct. We can restore from a backup but we'd lose about two weeks worth of work. Is there another solution?
