Cannot save vendor order in acquisitions modle
by sheldon_tappin 09 Mar '11

09 Mar '11

Hi All, I've submitted a post before but I didn't get any response, please help. 1. My problem is that i'm unable to save an order made to a vendor in the acquisitions module and this is occurring on koha version 3.2.2. Whenever i click the save button nothing happens, absolutely nothing. 2. On version 3.0.6. I am able to save orders made to vendors, however, after I received the first item i cannot receive any other item from the quantity within order. Also, after I received the first item in the quantity, if i should click on the title of the record i'm getting and error i don't know why. I did truncated some tables in the koha database: aqorders, aqbasket, aqorders, aqbooksellers. I know for sure that I truncated the tables in ver 3.0.6 tables but i'm not sure if i truncated the tables in ver. 3.2.2. My motive for truncating the tables was to delete the vendors and the sample data that i had inputted. Help is greatly appreciated. trouble placing hold on book
by Shelley & Kurt Kemperman 09 Mar '11

09 Mar '11

I tried and failed to place a hold on a book today. The book was already checked out and I wanted to place a hold so that when it was checked in, our volunteer would be alerted. I went to the book record, clicked place hold, then entered the student's number. I received the message "no copies are available to be placed on hold". Well of course not, if there was a copy available, I wouldn't need to place a hold - lol. Why can't I place the hold? Thanks, Shelley

Why Holds Que report not working?
by Vimal Kumar 09 Mar '11

09 Mar '11

Dear Friends, Reports in Circulation module seems not working. Circulation > Holds Que Reports regarding hold (reservation) does not give any result. I want to create a list of books reserved by users. Anything else I need to do enable reports in circulation module? I found a report useful for this purpose from Report Library, http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/SQL_Reports_Library#List_of_Patrons_wit… I changed the library code in the query and applied, but it does not show any result. I need to change any other value in the query? Regards, -- Vimal Kumar V. help with subscription pattern
by Rachel Hollis 08 Mar '11

08 Mar '11

Hi friends, today I tried to set up a subscription pattern for Fast Company, ISSN 1085-9241. It is monthly with combined issues in December & January as well as July & August for 10 issues a year. Issues are numbered (no volumes) and continue; issue 150 for November, issue 151 for December/January, issue 152 for February, etc. Other than a manual history, I'm not sure how to set this up. A monthly pattern would require adjustment once a year to predictive dates, a bimonthly (6 a year) pattern would require four additional issues added. Is there a way to set this up without using manual history? need help with report
by ksckemperman＠chartermi.net 08 Mar '11

08 Mar '11

We've just had our first week checking out books with Koha and it went very well - woohoo! I have a report to list the students in each class. I noticed that after the first week of checkouts, the report is listing the name of each student that checked out a book twice, even after the book is checked in. To clarify, this report is just a list of each student in each class, not anything about books checked out, etc. I can't figure out what to edit in the SQL so that I get just one line per student - any ideas? This is the SQL for the 1st grade list: SELECT borrowers.surname,borrowers.firstname,borrowers.cardnumber,borrowers.categorycode FROM borrowers LEFT JOIN statistics on (statistics.borrowernumber=borrowers.borrowernumber) LEFT JOIN items on (items.itemnumber = statistics.itemnumber) LEFT JOIN biblioitems on (biblioitems.biblioitemnumber = items.biblioitemnumber) WHERE borrowers.categorycode='1ST' ORDER BY borrowers.surname,borrowers.firstname Thanks, Shelley
