Hi All, I am using a Koha Virtual Machine created by Kyle M Hall, with the Koha Management Console, and have just ran the ³Update Koha² function, and Koha has updated to Version 3.03.00.052. But, when I go to log Koha Staff Client or visit the OPAC, I receive the following error pages (as per below): Staff Client Software error: Can't locate Template.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /home/koha/kohaclone /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.10.0 /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.10 /usr/share/perl/5.10 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at /home/koha/kohaclone/C4/Templates.pm line 32. At 07:03 PM 4/14/2011 -0300, you wrote: >You should read a bit about Marc bibliographic Frameworks in the Koha >3.2 Manual online: > >http://koha-community.org/documentation/3-2-manual/?ch=x4488#marcbibframewo… On this matter, and as the manual states: "If you want this field to be a pull down with limited possible answers, choose which 'Authorized value' list you want to use" has anyone got a suggestion as to how to create an "auth value" drop down box that has a blank line (easy) that is also editable (difficult.) In other words the drop down box represents "suggestions" rather than absolutes. e.g. a drop down box for "condition" of a book (952$x) with all sorts of suggestions ranging from "fine/fine" to "reading copy only" that cover 99% of a cataloguer's input, but will occasionally require a "good, fair slipcase, half calf with some cracking, three edges gilt but fading" :=) Thanks, Paul Tired old sys-admin

Hi there. It's possible to block one patron to do reserves on a book that is holding by him? Because the patron can have the book infinite time is the first reserve is from him. Regards. Vitor Fernandes

Zebra: only can index in XML format. Please help.

Hi there, I m Ann. I just finish installing koha 3.2.6 on opensuse 11.3 All prerequisite perl modules have been installed fine. However, there are some issues regarding Zebra rebuild index. First of all, the site works fine with no-Zebra index, however, it seems that the Advanced Search don’ work under no-Zenbra search engine, so we have to go with the Zebra. I already did a search on the forum, do the steps that point the module path to reflect the right folder in the system. In our case, it is “modulePath: /usr/lib64/idzebra-2.0/modules” I also make sure user koha have access to the modules folder. The problem with Zebra is: It seems that Zebra Rebuild Index fine if only with bibliographies under XML koha:/usr/webpages/koha-3.2.6/misc/migration_tools # ./rebuild_zebra.pl -b -x Zebra configuration information ================================ Zebra biblio directory = /var/lib/koha/zebradb/biblios Zebra authorities directory = /var/lib/koha/zebradb/authorities Koha directory = /usr/webpages/koha/intranet/cgi-bin BIBLIONUMBER in : 999$c BIBLIOITEMNUMBER in : 999$d ================================ skipping authorities ==================== exporting biblio ==================== .1....................................................................................................101.......................... Re: [Koha] Tag 041

Tag 041

I just noticed that Koha apparently lacks subfield b - the codes for languages of summaries when the language of the summary is other than that of the text. What should I use in place of this missing subfield? Or is there a way of inserting that subfield back into 041? Missing Tag 43

Forgot to include this question as well: Koha does not provide this tag either. Since the video I am cataloging includes music of no less than India, Egypt, Turkey Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, France & Spain, what should I use. And same question: can anyone tell me why this tag is omitted?
