hi i have a simple problem now i can access my opac and staff client from real IP from internet , i have 2 sub domain to my library , i would like to acces opac when type library.mydomain.com , that's no problem and staff when type library-admin.mydomain.com that's my problem i don't want to type 8080 in the end of URL when access staff. any help :)

Ordering from 'next' budget

Hi all, Horowhenua Library Trust are running 3.2 and uses the acquisitions module in to mange annual budgets, funds, orders and receiving of stock. We place orders against the 'current' active budget (eg 2010/2011 with start/end dates 01/07/2010 - 30/06/2011). We are currently ordering stock which needs to come out of the 'next' active budget ie 2011/2012 with start/end dates 01/07/2011-30/06/2012). My problem is that some titles being ordered now need to be recorded against the 'next' active budget ie 2011/2012 not the current one. So my question is how do other libraries manage that? Seeking basic intro on cron-jobs

Hi everyone, We're still learning all the ins and outs of running koha in our small public library. I need to set up cron-jobs for our overdue notices and I've never done that before. So far, the info I've found is just the scripts for different jobs and references to having your admin make the changes on your server. Our Koha is hosted by ByWater Solutions. Can anyone point me to a very basic resource for getting these jobs set up (like where to enter the scripts, etc.). Is it something I do on our network server? Or is it on our remote server for Koha? Regarding the staff interface of the koha > a. can we do merging two different modules into single module? As far as I can tell the only way to do this would be to edit the template files (*.tt). This is easily done but difficult to maintain across Koha upgrades. If you choose this option I recommend doing it as part of a dev install of Koha from a git repo. disabling authorities

Hi there I am running Koha 3.2.6. When i try to do original cataloguing, I can't type values into the 100$a field. Is there someway to unlock this field? BiblioAddsAuthorities is set to allow, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
