I'm not sure if this is a bug or a problem in how I'm running the clean_database.pl script... Running the script, it says the sessions are going to be purged: $ PERL5LIB=$PERL5LIB $KOHA_CRON_PATH/cleanup_database.pl -v --sessions --sessdays 2 Session purge triggered with days>2. 0 sessions were deleted. Done with session purge with days>2. But there are sessions older than 2 days: mysql> select * from sessions; | 00000ea4915d23eff57160797fdd1d55 | --- _SESSION_ATIME: '1315496500' _SESSION_CTIME: '1315496500' _SESSION_ID: 00000ea4915d23eff57160797fdd1d55 ... and Unix time stamp '1315496500' translates to 'Thu, 08 Sep 2011 15:41:40 GMT'. Did I miss something?? Problem with Koha to MARC correspondence

my greetings, I have defined a correspondence between a new field (userid) in biblioitems table and the MARC Bibliographic records(tag 001 Número de control), but, when I insert a new record, the field "userid" is not corresponding with tag 001 value's, it have 0. Date on patron replication

OK, I'm trying to test patron replication. When I attempt to log in and have my information added, I get several errors along these lines: [Thu Oct 13 10:22:51 2011] [error] [client 10.63.12.165] [Thu Oct 13 10:22:51 2011] smart-rules.pl: Illegal Date '11/30/2011' does not match 'iso' format: yyyy-mm-dd at /shared/kohaprod/soft/intranet/cgi-bin/admin/smart-rules.pl line 121, referer: http://kohaprod.library.nd.edu:8080/cgi-bin/koha/admin/smart-rules.pl Now, I fully agree that the date formats don't match, but what I have set within Koha is mm/dd/yyyy. So where is the setting that is trying to add this as yyyy-mm-dd? Title search failure

Hi! I m using koha version 3, and i m able to search books using bar code number but when i search using title of a book i get no results about a book searched for. what could be the problem

If enabled, it will create new user in Koha. update is triggered every time users logs in, and it will overwrite that user info in Koha using data from LDAP. So, if you edited user which originally came from LDAP in Koha and user logs in again, that data will be overwritten. In our configuration we are using just replicate to create new users, and since we have script which keep just dateexpiry in Koha in sync with LDAP we are not using update. Documentation embedded withing koha and available via perldoc Auth_with_ldap.pm is as far as I know, best resource for LDAP configuration.

Barcode and spine label printing in Koha

Hello! Is it possible to print both barcodes and spine labels on the same sheet? I see Gaylord has a label set, Gaylord LSL04 for both barcode and spine labels. If so, does someone have a template for this or similar? :) David W. Although I haven't tried this with koha, with other library software a good workable solution is to export the label fields as a .csv and then import them into a word processor, where it's easy to format for labels. The whole process can be scripted so anyone can generate labels. Bob Elgie

490 not visible in normal view?

Hi, SIPRI library just finished a test update from 3.2 to 3.4.5 and everything seems just fine, except for one thing: -the data in marcfield 490 (a,x,v) no longer show up in the "normal view" either in the OPAC or the Intranet. Or to be correct, the data in the 490-field almost never shows - I have found a few records where the series data appears, but in most records it doesn't. In one record with 2 separate 490 fields one of them is visible, but when checking other records with 2 separate 490 entries neither appears. Any thoughts on the matter is most welcome! FYI: Swedish libraries follow LoC recommendations which means we no longer use the obsolete field 440, so the 490 is absolutely essential for our records to display properly.
