If it's impossible, could you report the bug and upload it somewhere on biblibre.com for now, rather than crossposting big mails, please? Advice needed for csv-profiles tool
by Mathieu Saby 29 Nov '12

29 Nov '12

Hello I am testing csv profiles Tool for exporting shelves in csv (cgi-bin/koha/tools/csv-profiles.pl) I tried Auteur1=700$a|Auteur2=701$a|Titre=200$a|Sous-titre=200$e|Editeur=210$c|Date=210$d (french unimarc...) and it works. I tried "Auteur(s)=70.$a" (fields 700, 701, 702) and it works too (but it is not documented in the Manual) But is there a way to put 2 subfields in the *same *column. For example "701 $a, $b" (Surname, Firstname) ? Regards, M. How to change fine calculation timing: another appeal
by Vimal Kumar V. 29 Nov '12

29 Nov '12

Dear Friends, In my experience Koha installation from Ubuntu packages is very convenient and easy to keep update with forthcoming versions. Everything works fine with latest version of Koha. But one problem still haunting me, change of default time fixed to run fines.pl cron. Many users like to change the fine calculation to another convenient time (e.g. 10 AM). Dear developers, kindly guide me how to change the fine calculation time. Regards -- Vimal Kumar V. Help with Analtyics for the Manual
by Nicole Engard 28 Nov '12

28 Nov '12

I'm working on the manual (obviously) and I need some help The analytics section says "To view all of the items tied to the host record, do a search for the record, click the Analytics tab on the left and the analytics tied to each barcode will be shown under the "Used in" column." but I don't see anything under the 'Used In' column on any of my records I do see 'Host records' with a link though. What should show in 'used in'? Thanks in advance!

Help for "Required match checks"
by Mathieu Saby 28 Nov '12

28 Nov '12

Hello in /koha/admin/matching-rules.pl I see 3 blocs of information. The 3rd block is "Required match checks" But I cannot find anything about it in help files, or in Koha manual. (only "'Required match checks' - ??") So, if I want to set up a matching rule, can I only fill the first two block, or also the 3rd, and if so, with what information ? Maybe the manual should be updated for that feature. Regards, M. Upgraded to 3.10 using the packages, and broke the OPAC
by Doug Dearden 28 Nov '12

28 Nov '12

Hello all, A couple of weeks ago I built a test machine from scratch, Debian Squeeze and installed the stable version on it (at the time 3.8.7). I used the instructions on the wiki at http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.8_on_Debian_Squeeze and http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Moving_an_installation_from_a_regular_i… to guide me. All worked well, and I was pleased with the results. Today I did the same on my production machine and things did not go as well. I pointed to the stable version, and wound up with 3.10.0 (not unexpected). I went through the same process per the wiki instructions and have a somewhat functioning catalog. The issue is the way the OPAC looks. You can see the result at http://library.sarsf.org . You may need to reload the page once or twice before it breaks. It looks a little better in IE, but is definitely wrong in Firefox or Chrome. Checking the log in /var/log/koha/<instancename>/opac-error.log I see this every time the page is loaded: [Tue Nov 27 15:38:03 2012] [error] [client 192.168.30.196] [Tue Nov 27 15:38:03 2012] opac-main.pl: Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/koha/lib/C4/Auth.pm line 390. I tried changing that to blank but it didn't make any difference. Also, colors.css exists but is an empty file. The two files that it says do not exist, skin.css and reset-fonts-grids.css indeed are not in that location, they are in /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/css . Any idea where I might have gone wrong? Thanks, Doug Dearden Director, IT School for Advanced Research (505)954-7220 sarweb.org
