Dear Friends, Name of Koha 3.14 Live DVD Manager name mentioned in all release notes of Koha 3.12.x. Another thing is, Live DVD Manager name has not mentioned in About Koha > Koha Team. In http://koha-community.org/download-koha/, Perl is listed as a Koha requirement. The link used for Perl is www.perl.com. However the home of Perl seems to be www.perl.org. Maybe we have to change it. Thanks. Stefano

If the modules are optional, then you don't have to install them for Koha to function. However, if you do want to install them, most can be installed at the command line using apt-get. The package name will be based on the module name, and will start with "lib" and end with "-perl". So, if you need String::Random, you can install it with "sudo apt-get install libstring-random-perl". Some modules cannot be found in apt however, and those will need to be installed using CPAN. You can start CPAN and run it interactively with "sudo cpan", or you can run cpan and install the module in one command with "sudo cpan Module::Name", e.g. "sudo cpan String::RewritePrefix". Dear All, We are facing a problem in Koha. Library staff if editing records online but the changes are not showing in. I think it is an indexing issue. I tested it on a test server the issue actually is that when I run an incremental indexing it only indexes the new book that has been added but does not include (edit) the book already in the system. And when I re-indexes the complete records it disturbs all the records and after that no records comes in the search. Purchase suggestions spammed

We're running Koha 3.10 In the past 24 hours we've received over 2000 'purchase suggestions' which appear to be links to pornography (I haven't actually clicked on them, but the descriptions alone were enough to deem them unsuitable for our collection . . . ). I'm going to switch off the purchase suggestion feature, and hope our readers will think to e-mail us with suggestions instead. Has anyone else had this problem.
