Koha-2.2.9 [Catalog] Searching problem

I have upgraded KOHA-2.2.2b to KOHA-2.2.9 and all the Data have been transfered fine. But Catalog Search result returning 0. Though the searching book is present. Though now the age of KOHA-3, if some one can, Please help me Prosenjit Bala

Dear Mr. Chandru, Take the complete backup of the SQL file from Y machine and replace the SQL file of Koha in X Machine. You are done !! If that is the case, then you can go to the Tools, and click on "Export data". You would then be able to export out your bibliography and authority records. The next data you may want to get out will be patrons record. For that you will need to generate a report that you can download. You will then need to import the biblios and authority from the stage MARC for import link in Tools and also import your patrons from a link in the same Tools page. Cheers. Opac default language

Some years ago I proposed a (raw) solution to set the opac default language other than English: see http://koha.1045719.n5.nabble.com/Set-principal-language-td4263943.html If I'm not wrong, this solution was broken by the HttpOnly flag set to true for cookie KohaOpacLanguage at C4/Templates.pm line 310. Is there a way to solve this? Do we need an enhancement, like a new syspref? Thanks. Stefano

koha opac library catalog search does not work properly

I added a catalog subfield 245$a title 'Computer Programming' and subfield 245$b which is remainder of title 'Abdul Malik Ishar'. When i try to search using library catalog in OPAC for 'Computer Programming' it came out but when i try to search for 'Abdul Malik Ishar' its doesnt came out . RFC: authorities search autocomplete behaviour

Hi, a quick question, based on your experience: once the autocomplete feature in authorities search (cataloguing) retreived several results, the user is expected to click on one of them if it is what he/she was looking for. What should the behaviour be?: a) The clicked authority record should be left in the search field (current) so the user fills some other search fields and then clicks 'Search' button. b) The clicked authority record is shown below so the user can review it and choose it if applicable. c) The clicked authority record is directly chosen for linking and the pop up window closes.
