You don't say what version of Koha, nor what your "old" server was... [Knowing I'm leaving myself open to severe criticism] I often "move" a fully working version of Koha 3.8.x from one Ubuntu 12.04 server to another by (a) insuring all dependences are installed, (b) copying /usr/share/koha, (c) dumping and restoring the MySQL db in /var/lib/mysql, (d) complete reindex (biblios and authorities) of Zebra. Hi Rudy, do you have pictures based on borrower cardnumber? I.e. something like http://your.pictures.host/pictureID/12345.jpg In this case, you can try to add an <img src="http://your.pictures.host/pictureID/12345.jpg"> element to the page http://your_koha_staff:8080/cgi-bin/koha/members/moremember.pl?borrowernumb… using intranetuserjs system preference. This solution will survive Koha upgrades. If this is good for you, I can add more details. Bye. I'm installing a new Koha Server on Unbuntu o replace a dying server and I thought I could get some pointers here concerning the process. I have loaded Unbuntu 12.04 LTS Server and will be installing the Koha package on the server tomorrow. After I install the Koha package, I'm wanting to know how I can configure the Koha server to act like the one I'm replacing. Does anyone have any documentation on moving a Koha install to another server? Thanks for any help. Phillip

Just upgraded to 3.14 With every new version I'm installing I have to manually change some files to allow accessing the patron pictures which are already there on our school system. Is there a way that would allow me to use an link to an external picture (instead of uploading the pictures to Koha or changing code) ? Any setting to do that I have not found so far? Hi when adding libraries external libraries (for example; emarald insight), if i wanted koha searches to be passed to emarald do i need to just add the ip address' when adding libraries?

Hi, I am trying to install koha in CentOS. I was following the howto in http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Koha_3.10_on_Centos_6.3_x86_64_en. Installation went on fine. At the end when I try to access koha page (web installer) from my pc (using http://koha.domainname:8008) it redirects me to the the maintenance.pl page with a message System maintenance The Koha online catalog is offline for system maintenance. We'll be back soon! If you have any questions, please contact the site administrator.. Where am I going wrong here? Any help is greatly appreciated...I am a newbie to koha. Regards, Ribin
