We don't use a jobber or any other sort of centralized system of purchasing. All our subscriptions are done on an individual basis through the publisher. Which means we have a large number of vendors that have to go into the system in order for us to set up subscriptions and track incoming serials, etc. All the relevant information is present in our old database system . I would dearly love to be able to bring it into Koha without having to retype everything. koha/acqui/supplier.pl seems to be what governs this chunk of information. Is there a list somewhere of the relevant tags/fields that we need to map our data to Koha? Invitation for Meeting Host Proposals

Greetings all, A group of Koha users is planning on hosting a meeting for Koha users based in the United States and Canada. We intend to hold this meeting next year, 2014, sometime during the month of August. We would like to invite proposals from agencies and libraries in the United States to host this meeting. We envision that the meeting would span 2-3 days. Please email your proposals to me, nblake(a)masslibsystem.org. Information in your proposal should include (but does not need to be limited to) the following information: 1. The location and what kind of conference facility would be offered. Confirm that the site would have internet and other technology available to enable presentations and general connectivity. 2. Dates when the meeting could occur at the proposed location. 3. Information about transportation -- the closest airports and train stations and how one could get from these places to the meeting site. 4. Lodging in the area. 5. Anything else we would need to know about the location and what makes it a great choice for this meeting. Messy Code with Patron Cards Export

Hello All， This is Junyu from China,We have encountered a messy code problem with Patron Cards Export,when we use tools export function to export a patch patron ; We got the messy PDF file,because we have some Chinese code inside,like username and branch,I have do deep check about PDF::Reuse module in perl,it used to create the exported PDF file, the module allow us only use about 14 fonts like "Times-Roman, Times-Bold, Times-Italic, Times-BoldItalic, Courier, Courier-Bold, Courier-Oblique, Courier-BoldOblique, Helvetica, Helvetica-Bold, Helvetica-Oblique, Helvetica-BoldOblique ",but all of this font does not support Chinese character,so the module should call system fonts to create the PDF file,it did not yet. Does any body have good suggestion? this really Confused me,I have spend half month on this,and it is import for us. feel free to let me know if you have any idea. koha search

hii all, I am using koha 3.8.3 on ubuntu 12.04 with zebra. I enable search using wildcard, fuzzy search, include quotation from preferences but it is not working properly. Is there any other way to achieve this?? And my title search pulls words from other fields like publisher I want title search to pull from only title. How this can be achieve?? Please help me out of this.... Thanks,

SIP2 question

We are currently installing an RFID/self-check system and have setup the SIP2 server successfully, but we are wondering what is the best way to set it up to automatically start on system boot. Problem with printing barcodes

Hi folks! Apart from struggling with the label template, I have been struggling as well to print out the barcodes. I ended up stripping out the old barcodes (based on our previous system's accession numbers) and have managed to get Koha to auto-generate new barcodes for each item. However, when I try to print, I get a barcode that is too large for the standard Avery 5160 and the bib details for the biblio/barcode layout do not print. As far as I can tell, every setting is the same as the demo sites. Our version of Koha is 3.12.03.000. Many thanks. A4 template for barcode labels

Hi folks! I need to generate new barcode labels for our items but the standard label template in the demo sites is for Avery 5160 which is American letter size. Does anyone have one for A4 please?
