Cannot edit public list
by Amy Schuler 03 Mar '14

03 Mar '14

Hello All, In Koha admin interface, I am unable to add a record to a public list that I created, using same user/password combo that I used to log in to Koha admin. I am able to view this public list (it still exists; was not deleted), and I can edit my private list, but cannot edit the public list. Through the OPAC interface I have the same problem --- cannot add anything to public list even though I can view its contents. Details: When I am viewing a record, in either admin interface or OPAC, I click on the "Add To" arrow and select LIST. Where it says, "select an existing list" -- there is no option. If I am logged in under my personal account, then I can add to my private list but there is still no public list option. Note that I have tried adding to the public list using both my personal and admin logins, and yes, my personal login does have superlibrarian permissions ( I double checked this). I searched bugzilla and see no known bugs. I am running Koha v.3.10.04.000 Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks! empty Tools list
by Giuseppe Angilella 02 Mar '14

02 Mar '14

Hi, I'm in the process of upgrading an old database to the current version of Koha. The migration process had errors, which I am now trying to identify and fix (one by one, alas). Presently, the Koha instance working on the updated database does not display any tool in the Tools page. It only displays the headings: Patrons and circulation Additional tools Catalog and nothing below any of them. (Another instance of Koha does display all available tools.) I suspect that this has to do with some missing entry in some table of the Koha mysql database. The question is: which one? Any hint? (A related question is, how can I debug the intranet/cgi-bin/tools/tools-home.pl script from the command line?) Many thanks, Giuseppe.

report with columns of fields that has more than one data

Hi Koha community! I'm trying to make a report in latest Koha version so that I can download the report in csv, I'm wondering if it's possible to put punctuation in between data of fields that has more than one data (e.g. in subject, there could be more than one data for the it). Is this doable? Hello All - I just wanted to let you all know - that we've order a pie from a bakery in Seattle, Washington - to be delivered to Galen Charlton's (the fearless RM of 3.14) house. We've ordered it to be signed by the Koha Dev team. Thanks for the hard work Galen - I thought it was about time that you got that Pie that you released. Email to newly created patron
by Olugbenga Adara 28 Feb '14

28 Feb '14

Hi everyone, I have a Koha installation that I have been trying to get to send an email to newly created patron without much luck. Koha version: 3.14.3 Debian package (Now upgraded to 3.14.4) I have the AutoEmailOpacUser systempreference set to "send" and AutoEmailPrimaryAddress set to "first valid". The Koha instance is enabled for email and the checkin, checkout email notices actually get sent by the server. I have checked the server's email log and see nothing to show that the email got to the smtp server (exim4). The Koha staff client error log however has the below errors (I have no idea if they are relevant to the issue though) preferences.pl: Use of uninitialized value in goto at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/admin/preferences.pl line 57., memberentry.pl: Use of uninitialized value $_ in hash element at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/members/memberentry.pl line 825., Use of uninitialized value in anonymous hash ({}) at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/members/memberentry.pl line 825., memberentry.pl: Use of uninitialized value $_ in hash element at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/members/memberentry.pl line 825., memberentry.pl: Use of uninitialized value in anonymous hash ({}) at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/members/memberentry.pl line 825., memberentry.pl: Use of uninitialized value $_ in hash element at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/members/memberentry.pl line 825., [error] moremember.pl: Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/share/koha/intranet/htdocs/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/includes/borrower_debarments.inc line 65., (I did snip some of the words on the line though) Anyone has any ideas on what is happening and tips on getting this resolved?
