Updating Koha 3.14 after security release

koha jquery to hide 'Title Notes'

Hello Koha community! I'm trying to customize a Koha ILSusing 3.14.x and one of this is to hide Title Notes tab. I looked at the Koha jquery wiki, tried those available there that will fit what I need, just trial and error, and so I came up with this: $(document).ready(function(){ $("ul li:contains('Title notes')").hide(); }); It worked, providing me with what I need: to hide the Title Notes tab. I don't know much jquery but hopefully this satisfy what I need and I don't get bugs or what have you with this. In any rate, I want this added in the Jquery wiki library for future reference. OPAC adding new page

Check your apache2 logs for the real URL your CMS is trying to reach. Does you new OPAC page have the proper header initialized? Check any opac.pl-script for the correct header initialization. MD5 hash password encryption

I am doing bulk uploading for our library patrons for the first time. I set a default password for all my patrons to be 1234 which they can change on their own at the OPAC page. Sometimes translation is wrongly applied to html code of .tt files. For instance, <p class="title"> becomes <p class="titolo"> (in Italian). This causes a silent error, with nothing in the Javascript console... editing cancelled orders

We would like to add title and author to some deleted biblios attached to cancelled orders so that those fields don't show up as blank in our reports. Is it possible to modify a cancelled order? Problem with Koha and self-checkout kiosk

Hi folks! We're installing a self-check kiosk from FE Technologies and have been having a problem with the kiosk talking to Koha. Everything highlighted red is a checkout request. We are sending the correct information to the LMS but we do not receive anything back and this is where it drops out. If I copy the same SIP request highlighted in red and manually process this request it drops out and disconnects as shown in the logs. This shows me there is certainly an issue with how Koha is responding to a checkout request. In case the colours in the above do not come out in the above, lines 5, 13, and 25 are the lines in red showing the request. Initially I had thought it was a problem with the circulation rules but after cloning the rules to the branch from All libraries (we have only one branch), I was able to check out and in using the FE Technologies Circulation Assistant connected to my PC. The logs above are from after that change. FE Technologies are still investigating but any ideas from the community would be very much appreciated. problems with layout when changing the language

Dear list, We have translated koha into Armenian and installed it on our system. However, when we are switching from English to Armenian, in the staff section strange layouts are used instead o the default ones. For example, when I go to Home › Cataloging › Add MARC record, and change the language, this strange and uncomfortable screen is displayed: http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t607/haikzargaryan/arm_zps6a1efe3d.jpg As you can see in the screenshot, instead of the usual tabs for the Field Groups we have some hyperlink numbers and all fields are displayed in a long list instead o being grouped in tabs. So, to get to 952 I have to scroll down till the bottom of the page.
