If you installed Koha as standard mode installation Try these following commands in sequence export KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml export PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib /usr/share/koha/bin/koha-zebra-ctl.sh start /usr/share/koha/bin/koha-zebraqueue-ctl.sh start

Default to logged in branch vs "all branches'
by Kyle Hall 18 Sep '14

18 Sep '14

As many of you already know, there are a good number of areas in Koha where we have settings for each library, and an "all libraries" default. Examples of this are the circulation rules, slips and notices, overdue status triggers, etc. Some librarians would like the default view to be the library's rules, rather than the "all libraries" rules. The idea being that this would stop librarians from editing the "all libraries" rules by accident. The two bugs in question are: Bug 11625 - Default to logged in library for circ rules and notices & slips http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11625 Bug 11747 - Default to logged in library for Overdue notice/status triggers http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11747 Please let us know how you feel about this! Creating OPAC pages with Koha 3.16.xxx
by Craig Butosi 17 Sep '14

17 Sep '14

Dear CW, Running Koha 3.16 on Unbuntu 12.04 LTS. (craigslibrary.myddns.com/) I was interested in creating new OPAC pages in Koha (for example, an FAQ or general information page that users can visit from the homepage). The post below suggests that it can be done, but only after Koha has been configured to run like a CMS: http://librarypolice.com/wiki.koha.org/en:documentation:tutorials:creatingc… Can anyone confirm whether this works for 3.16? Many thanks! Best to all, Craig Butosi, MA, MLIS, B Mus (Hons.)
